They're from fnc, their groups entire theme is about video games and they have to do quests to level up and such, I think fnc just really liked the concept with aoa and decided to go for it, I'm also pretty sure theres a s/o to aoa'w bing bing in the lyrics. Idk about other people for why they're hype but I saw their live vocal dance practice of into the new world and it really impressed me.
Nichole Cheesymac Some hype is coming from Produce 48 and Haeyoon especially since she ended in the top 20 of the show! She has made herself a name as a good main vocal.
I'm not sure if it's true but I heard that their debut song was actually supposed to be Bingle Bangle, so maybe AOA got it from their little sister's group instead!

My thoughts exactly! I was super excited when she debut!!! I fell in love with her voice in PD48. Kinda sad she didn’t debut earlier.
the group is so hyped for some reasons
1. aoa sister group after 7years aoa debut ,all fnc stans gonna support them
2. haeyoon 1:39 she was in produce48 , she sing the "MERRY CHRI" , is one the best in produce48
3. some girls have connect to BTS , yuju and bora in BTS LOVE YOURSELF Highlight Reel MV and ChaeRin is JK chilldhood best friend

If they wanted to do a gaming concept, they should have made it as a character selection/creation thing for their debut. To keep within the concept and to use it to present the members/group better
Actually, They has a character and speciality... Haeyoon speciality is a shield, Bora speciality is a Healers, etc. You can find it in Cherry Bullet profile 😂😂😂

Safarini Justisia , ah yeah I’m not surprised due to hearing that they are built around the game concept. However I still do wish they put it in the debut song as it would make first time viewers feel they know the group more (feels like a missed opportunity). It’s a great song though, and boi those vocals (why do I end up stanning so many groups? 😩)

The only two things I can think of that people are hyping them is first that they‘re from FNC like SF9 I think 🤔
And secondly, Park Haeyoon is in the group who’s a former contestant of PD48. She made it to the finale and she‘s the one who‘s voice you liked in the beginning 😊
MeralK. Yes they got a lot of hype bcs SF9 fanbase is hyping them up and fantasies are fnc most active fandom. Thats why they are hyped. Plus some elvis, boice, primadonna and nfias are also helping hype the girls. But sf9 fanbase has a bigger part in hyping the girls even before debut. Im a fnc stan by the way.
Also Yuju and Bora were in BTS's highlight reel which also gave them a bit of exposure
it’s a good song that even aoa would’ve released just with a better rap verse. that’s why it’s hyped. and because of aoa, not sf9

One of the members I'm aware of is Park Haeyoon who was from Produce 48 who ranked 20th place. If you asked me she has the best voice in the season and if you were to group every contestant from all the season her voice would be one of the best.

Cherry Bullet was hyped for a couple reasons.
1. They are from FNC.
2. Park Hae Yoon was in produce 48, and got 19th place due to her amazing vocals.
3. They have a youtube channel that has pre-debut videos about the members.
4. They have made pre-debut dancing and singing covers. One of which was "Into the New World". So they were able to show their talent before actually debuting.
So far, I love this group and song. I'd like to know more about the members but we'll probably get to know them with time.

That youtube channel isn't official. FNC never announced it. Someone just created the channel and titling it as "official", and they just reupload several videos from Vlive and such. The only official youTube channel for Cherry Bullet's official content is FNC's channel unless FNC decides to create a separate channel for Cherry Bullet when they promote in Japan
The big hype is bc their label is FNC and their concept is a video game style, so is pretty unic + they main vocal is Park Haeyoon (the girl with the great voice) and the was in Produce 48! Rank as #19 on the final!
Initeresting concept, my only thing is I'm not sure how they would build from there - there's a lot of material to work with but they have to play their cards right and work away from the typical video game (by typical I mean this was done multiple times in kpop) set up we see here.
the 2 girls u liked are the 2 main vocalists the one with the long hair that did the extream note in the first verse was Hae Yoon (and she was also on PD48), and the girl with the short blond hair is Bora ... and i actually like how they did a wide shots on the dance scenes cuz mind you this is a big group (10 members) so that way u get more of the whole group vibe, and plus they did get a lot of solo shots or unit shots where u can see the members (except Lin Lin she got 3 shors and in all 3 shes just in the backgroud)
God song for a debut groupe, let's hope the can follow up with something that shows the girls personality.
I second the flawed direction of the MV. Mirae and Lin Lin I remember clearly are two members who barely got screentime, Lin Lin even more so because I don't think she even got lines. I understand this can happen in a group with a rather large member count, but this IS their debut, so I feel like Lin Lin (and maybe another member or two) should've gotten a bit more exposure, either through lines, or screentime (which in this case, she received neither). Lin Lin (and a few other members who didn't receive as many lines) though is a part of the group's dance line, so she dances at/near the center quite often, and this likely is to make up for her lack of lines. but as you mentioned, there were rarely any close shots of the members, so it's hard for her to stand out.
I believe they said that "Cherry Bullet" means that the group is cute like a cherry and will shoot into the hearts of the public with their charms.
Cherry Bullet I also think will succeed, because as you had mentioned, they have FNC as a backing. not only this, but Park Haeyoon, the girl who you commented having a great voice, was part of Produce 48, and made it into the final round. fans wanted to see Haeyoon debut, and this is probably the biggest reason why the group was hyped so much. FNC had also given them a reality show that aired(?) between the first member/group teasers in November, so they were also able to gather fans for the other unknown members.
the management of the group so far is very promising imo, and if it continues this way, I believe Cherry Bullet will remain a pretty solid group in the industry.

Definitely! There are rumours that Bingle Bangle was meant to actually be Cherry Bullet's debut instead of a AOA comeback but FNC gave it to AOA since they were pushing Cherry Bullet's debut date back, likely due to them sending Haeyoon to produce. Its just speculation but it may be true considering they are both very similar video game style concepts. I don't know why FNC didn't just keep Bingle Bangle for CB's debut if that is the case though, but who knows.

What most probably happened is that FNC liked what the people who worked in AOA's Bingle Bangle did so they hired them again for Cherry Bullet's comeback. That's it.

I think it's a great MV and song. If I had to change anything in the MV I would have had all the girls, where they are all singing together, to have all worn the cool sky blue dresses to create a more aesthetically pleasing coherent look in a clinical sense rather the non uniform casual clothes. The sky blue dresses would have matched the futuristic background better; or for a greater contrast the same dresses but in pink (no red borders; white borders instead).

the long hair main vocalist is park haeyoon... she`s compete at Produce 48 and she`s ended up at rank 19th.... the oldest of this group line 96 (23/24 years old)
i'm still trying to figure out the members - most don't stand out well.
that said, q&a is a very good song.
maybe they'll continue with pop funk (jamiroquai-ish).

Yeah the hype if because of it being FNC but also Haeyoon from P48. Personally think she's the closest this season got to Yeongjung from season 1. They also released some pre-debut covers, which were really good and helped build the hype. I'm excited for the live stages. I really liked the song and how fun it was, do agree that the mv focused too much on the mv and would've liked to see the members better, but I did love the wide angle on the dances.

The hype was about a lot of things like Haeyoon being on produce48 Yuju et Bora were girls we saw on BTS Highlight Reel video Chaerin apparently is a childhood friend of jungkook and their are from FNC like for me FNC is a good garantie of the skills of a group seeing from all the groups and soloist they have and they already had a tvshow prior debut so we kind of get to know the members

I know they're from AOA's company and a lot of armys were excited because some of the girls were actresses for the Highlight reels
The great voice one is Park Haeyoon, she appeared in Produce 48 and her vocal is amazing, she finished in top 20 (I forgot her last rank) go check her performances in PD48, her vocal is gold
I think there's a few reasons why they had quite a bit of hype. They're FNC's first girl group since AOA, Haeyoon was on p48 and they released quite a few covers (especially the into the new world cover they sung and danced live which was very impressive).
I love the gaming concept they're going for. Very unique and sets them apart imo.
The great voice girl is Haeyoon. You can watch her performance in Produce 48: Like Ooh Aah, Merry Chris and See you again.

don't know what you expect a debut to look and sound like. I mean the lyrics are literally about questions that we are asking ourself and they are gonna answer them to us in the future. That way we stay interested in them. You can't already expect them to fully epress themselves trough 3 debut songs.
Agree. They are actually slowly opening their characters based on the concept. Like level 1, then level 2, etc. May be they will release or open something soon.

When ever you get a chance, I think you should check out Bang Youngguk's HIKIKOMORI. The songs itself is really raw and emotional, and the cinematography is outstanding.

FNC is also have N.Flying and SF9. N.flying started off 2019 releasing a good vibe song 'Rooftop' and SF9 is going to have a comeback in February. I hope you could check out both group.

I agree with all of the points you made. As much as I love this song and Cherry Bullet, the MV barely gave any info about the group, and was a bit extra with the production. Hell, I watched 3 episodes of their show and I still don’t know who’s the main dancer or main vocalist or who raps 😂

Although I feel the same about the MV not showcasing the members as best as it could of I felt the teaser trailer did a pretty good job of acting as an introduction... then again not many people will have gone back to watch that so perhaps they should of had it at the start of the MV? Sort of a pick your character intro rather than the solo focus on one member.
The other 2 songs on their album are also really good.
I watched their video on a whim when it showed up on my sub page. But, the moment I saw Dva's gun I was sold. lol I'm easy. But, I also really enjoyed the song. I'm eager to learn more about them.
