I started smoking at14, gave vaping a try when i was 24. Vaped for almost 2 years, worked my way down to 3mg nicotine. One day my vape broke, so i just quit. Almost 5 years nicotine free! Being able to breathe again without pain in my lungs is everything.
Im proud of you man!
Well done mate, you are a Legend! Keep up the good life!
so proud homie
Dawg. If my theory stands, cancer is coming your way in your 40s.
@@nomorecomply4044 first off you're wrong. I know people that have smoked for over 20/30 years and have quit for around the same time and the doctors said that their lungs have cleaned themselves out and look indistinguishable from a non smoker. Little to no chance of cancer so literal proof that you're wrong sorry.
10 year smoker pack a day, just bought a vape and I have been smoke free for 12 days
Thank you to the inventor of vapes
Awesome stuff matey, it will only get easier, especially after the first couple of weeks. Eventually will come a time when you won't even think of smoking any more and the smell will be repulsive! 🤢
Keep going! 👊
I just did the same. Bought a phix vape pen thing with the pods. While it was charging i smoked cigerettes. Soon as i started the vape pen thing i havent smoked since. 5 days now.
Congradulations, iv been vaping 3 years totaly changed my life for the better.
And now you can smell somebody smoking a cigarette about a football field away
I quit smoking for about 7 months. As i live in a countryside town it is difficult for me to collect vaping products. It should be promoted and easy available for anyone want to quit smoking.
This video should be broadcasted on every major tv channel
NHS Yorkshire Smokefree helped me give up smoking with vouchers for a vape starter kit, liquids and spare coils. I’m a month smoke free now and I’ve just upgraded my vape to a fancier one that maximises flavour. I’m needing to use my inhaler less and I’m sleeping better, not waking up coughing or gasping for breath. I couldn’t be more grateful for the help and support I’ve received from Yorkshire Smokefree!
So true.
Congrats fella.
This popped up in my feed 2022. I am officially 22 days smoke-free today after smoking for over 20 years. All it took was my niece whom I love and admire asking if she could smoke like me when she grows up. The guilt physically hurt my soul....so I quit...for her, for my love 🙌🤜🤛💖💫🎉
That’s so sweet
How is it going?
Been smoke free for 3 years 6 months. I smoked for 33 years ,what a fucking waste.
that’s a really good reason to stop. i’m proud of you. this comment is 11 months old, i hope you’re almost a year smoke free now. even if you aren’t, i hope ur proud of yourself for this
@@dolphincliffs8864 you god damn right, you are not alone, i too free from nicotine for 2 months
I'm so tired of hearing "we don't know the long-term effects of vaping." We know the long-term effects of smoking, but we can still buy cigarettes with no resistance. So if by some minuscule chance it turns out that the long-term effects of vaping are just as bad or even worse than smoking, I fully expect to see it on all the store shelves, right next to the cigarettes.
I get the sentiment behind your comment, but be realistic, the reason cigarettes are still for sale is because when they came to market in the first place they weren't exactly opposed by health concerns and whatever concerns there were, were squashed. Just like Alcohol, if it was invented tomorrow you couldn't legalize it, just like cigarettes, it's only on sale because it always has been and there are so many consumers. So suggesting that because one product is legal that on that basis alone another product should be too is a shaky argument.
@@flammenjc How long does something need to be legal before it gets a permanent shelf life? Vaping is no spring chicken...
@@Polychrome1201 It can never be, we understand the human body more as a public health concern than we ever have in the past, that's the point.
I'm not against vaping tho, I think it should be legal but not on the basis that cigarettes are, should be on its own merit.
@@flammenjc Vaping has been legal on its own merit for many years, right up until the FDA classified and regulated it as a tobacco product. Therefore, if studies show vaping to be as harmful as cigarettes in the long run, it should be regulated as a cigarette. This is not the place to argue a grandfather clause.
@@Polychrome1201 Oh, I can't speak for the US tbh I'm in UK
I'm 30 years old, I've smoked cigarettes half my life, I had to stop, I used a vape at 30mg of nicotine and went down by 2mg every time I had to refill until I went to 0mg of nicotine and then I stopped vaping completely and successfully quit smoking cigarettes with zero withdrawals of them. whatever self-damage I've saved myself from (or making worse) from quitting smoking, I have vaping to thank. (This whole quitting process took a year and a half with zero cigarettes)
Congrats.
Hell yeah brother, proud of you! I started at 8mg and moved slowly down until I was mixing 3mg and 0mg together. Now its just the habit and the motion im kicking. I love smelling like strawberries and pineapple rather then cigarettes
congrats! ive done the same, went from a pack a day of cigs to starting vaping at 12mg. I'm now down to 3 mg havent had a cigarette in nearly a year, zero withdrawal!
Which brand of vape did you use?
I smoked for 25 years, this video brought me to tears. Vaping was my door, is my door. My father died from heart issues related to his life of smoking. My sister and I both quit in our 40's. Within the first six months I went from 12mg to 3mg of nicotine. I have never felt better, slept better, tasted food and life better than I do today. Thank you for making this - I will share it everywhere I can.
I'm 11 days of quitting smoking, but it's really hard and I'm looking to start vaping. What type of vape should I buy?
@@theroadie08 Zero mg Nicotine Strength E-Liquid.
@@theroadie08 Probably too late but I find the nicotine salts to work best especially coming off smokes. Smok makes some good devices that are affordable. The uwell brand also has some very good pod devices for the salt eliquids. Pbusardo and Grimm green both good channels to learn more!👍
@@chocknog5763 that might be unsatisfying at first and still have you crave a combustable cigarette despite vaping (personal experience). so better start with a nic dosage that's close to how much you smoked so far and then lower it gradually
omg, when you actually taste something like a sweettart candy and the rush of your newly minted buds then the taste hurts from the explosion of flavor. haha.
Nice video I must say. Psilocybin saved my life. I was addicted to heroin for 15 years and after Psilocybin treatment I will be 3 years clean in September. I have zero cravings. This is something that truly needs to be more broadly used in addiction treatment.
Psychedelics definitely have potential to deal with mental health issues such as anxiety and depression, I would like to give them a try but haven't found any legit grower to get it.
A lot of people have testified about this and I really want to give it a shot. I put so much on my plate and it definitely affects my stress and anxiety levels

The Trips I've been having have really helped me a lot,I finally feel in control of my emotions and my future and things that used to be mundane to me now seem incredible and full of nuance on top of that I'm way less driven by my ego and I have alot more empathy as well
@JulieAkinDoes he make deliveries across the states??
I was a heavy cigarette smoker for 2 years. Occasionally, I had breathing problem and I switched to vaping for 2 months to gradually quit smoking. In these last 2 months I feel that I can breathe so much better without any pain in my lungs.
Very well done. Thank you for this. It's a gift to those who have doubts about or are negative towards vaping. It's a gift to the industry.
See no paywall Phil ;-)
@Mr. Man its cause the main reason cigs etc cost alot is tax etx
@Mr. Man God bless you man.
I am sending it to my worrying Mom. I am so thankful for vaping.
@Mr. Man Well.... DT Trump banned flavored vaping juice. Now Biden going full tilt boogie banning menthol cigs and flavored cigars-what people wrap weed in. Total clusterfuck. BOTH PARTIES SOLD THE AMERICAN PEOPLE OUT. If you still have a "side"-you aren't paying attention.

As a vaper from Leeds who has lost family to cancer/smoking, thank you so much for the sensible and caring approach.
Respect for uk for standing up to corrupt bullies!
I've been cigarette free for 10 years this month, thanks to vaping when it wasn't very popular. I can breathe easily now, and my blood pressure is much lower. I cannot praise this video enough. Peace & love.
Just started vaping after smoking for 23 years. Just curious if you also found your gum and tooth health to improve?
How's your testosterone lol and libido? Bet it takes awhile for arousel :)
And hope you stop vaping entirely soon as well.
Here to joint the 10-year Vaper club meeting. 10 years, 2 months, and still breathing like a race horse, with good energy, clear skin, no cough... its all marvelous. Was on the cusp of COPD when I made the switch. Vaping saved my health, and likely my life.
Since Mark hasn't returned to address comments to him, I'll steal the spotlight for this round. Tooth and gum health about the same for me - never had issues. But, I do recall I used to get a build-up of tar/black stuff on the back of my lower front teeth. That disappeared pretty quick following the switch, and I've had zero issues with my gums or teeth since the switch so I imagine little-to-no harm is being done by the PG/VG liquid, nicotine, and FDA flavorings and sweeteners.
Testosterone and libido... not had the former tested - no clear or obvious need. No problems with the latter. Arousal takes the usual amount for a middle-aged man - about 12 seconds and the right stimulus (Vergil's mom).
Stopping vaping: Clearly for any 10-year vaper, that's not something they particularly care about. Long term vapers will probably quit when they get bored of it, or need to save the small cost each month, or if there is ever a discovery of real harm beyond what I experience from my daily slices of toast, or coffee, or the sugar I put in it. What is key though is that the addiction is near non-existent. If I hadn't smoked for an hour or two, I was ready to yell at or hit someone. With vaping, I often will walk around an amusement park for 16 hours having left my vape at home. No issue. Usually don't even think about it.
Great video. As a US resident it is nice to see some truth instead of the relentless propaganda and bullshit I'm subjected to each week. 10/10
My blood pressure didn't come down at all from 6 months cigarettes free.
Dr had to double blood pressure meds with 2 months changed to 1mg vape.

12 years on cigs, now 7 years on vapes and I can breath normally, no more smoke stank in my car/house/clothes or have yellow fingers. I am forever grateful to the vaping industry and those who support us. 💙💙
All I know is I used to smoke 2 packs of Newports (100's!) a day, lol.
I switched to vaping years ago. I can breath and smell now. The difference is night and day. I think it's obvious that inhaling anything other than oxygen is bad for you. But the short term effects of vaping is clearly far less than inhaling smoke.
But the long-term effects? I can't imagine it being good, but we will see. It's definitely best to just quit regardless, but I digress.
Damn, yellow fingers go away? Kinda hoped those would be a permanent reminder to not go back.

I smoked for 40 years. I was up to two packages a day for the last 20 years that I smoked. I discovered vaping in 2008, and began to reduce my cigarette intake. By 2010 I had given up cigarettes completely. Within two weeks of giving up cigarettes, I stopped coughing for 20 minutes every morning and I could walk up two flights of stairs without being winded. I still vape and I'm still alive and I still don't wake up coughing in the morning. I truly believe I would not be alive today if I had continued to smoke cigarettes. The man who invented this product is truly my hero.
Me too! Vaping saved my life. 💯

I am 63 now, but began smoking around 13 years old so I smoked nearly 50 years at a heavy clip. Finally this past winter while having a heart catherization procedure the insertion point ruptured in artery in my hip and I started to bleed out internally into my abdomen. 10 units of whole blood later, a LOT of pain and 20 staples to hold the surgery together I'm alive..
I started vaping a few months ago after completely quitting smoking for a bit. Every now and then I will light up a cigarette, but not often. Temptation after nearly 50 years is REALLY tough..The amount of nicotine it delivers is now overwhelming in comparison to vaping. Now I expect to live quite a bit longer than just a few months ago.. Others can stick their morals up their asses. I'm trying to stay alive.

Not to mention that in 2019 is when we discovered Covid which was literally maybe a week right after the whole vaping scare, which leads me to believe that there were a lot of undiagnosed Covid deaths that were being blamed on vaping. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly I'm 8 years clean now. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.
To be honest, mushrooms are one of the most amazing things on the planet and it is natural, they serve in many ways not only for mental related issues.

I quit smoking 3 years ago, but some of my friends and co-workers like to point out I still vape. They don't seem to care that I don't wheeze when I breathe now or that my COPD is completely gone. They don't care that I can't now go for a walk without feeling out of breath or that I spend about 1/5 the money. Started smoking at 18, and took a four year break through college. After college, with the partying and everything (all the stress of finding work/the pandemic) I picked up a smoking habit (maybe 1-3 a day). I noticed within six months I couldn't smell or taste as much as I used to at that point.
I walked around the mall one day and was winded like never before and it planted the seed of me quitting smoking, but I knew how hard it would be to quit cold turkey. It's been about three months since I quit smoking and switched to vaping. I can breathe better, taste better and perform considerably better than I ever have during my many nights out at bars smoking, and drinking. If there's anything I have to say to anyone it's to never stop quitting, or thinking about quitting. Quitting truly gives you a second lease on life, and everything starts to feel better. Cheers friends.

That is mainly because vapes have been marketed towards teens
@@jayd0ych914
Do you know what "marketed" means? Vaping is marketed as an alternative to smoking. nicotine in general has been attractive to teens for a long time, just because vaping is turning into the primary choice for teens who start consuming nicotine doesnt mean its marketed to teens, it just means teens are finding new way to do what theyve been doing forever.
Why would any company market their product to the a group that is illegal to sell to? How dense are you?
I'm turning 31 years old. I live in the Philippines. This research has been an eye opener for me. I used to smoke 1-2 packs per day and recently transitioned to vaping (which I'm hoping I can quit as well). I can now ride my bicycle farther and faster, breathe better and taste food better. All that and not putting people at risk around me. It turned my life around. Thank you.

Are you still vaping? Please be honest.
I just decided to quit vaping tonight after getting a sore throat and coughing from time to time. I believe this is my body telling me to stop. Been watching videos and watched enough to scare me to stop. I never thought I would ever stop. I immediately went on Amazon and ordered a breathing necklace. Really need it to help me get through this period of my life. Like I said, I had no intentions of ever quitting but I also don’t want irreversible lung damage.
You probably burnt the coil and kept hitting it but good for you man.
I had been a smoker for 40+ years and after a recent health scare knew I had to quit. Tried the meds, cold turkey and patches didn’t help. Bought myself a vape pen in November and haven’t touched a cigarette since. The fact that it replicates the feel of smoking made it possible for me. Couldn’t be happier with improving my health and financial position! We have to have a prescription for nicotine here in Australia and all I can say is without doctors like yourselves who know the truth and have done the research and support us to quit, this wouldn’t have been possible, thank you
I don't know if your nation has the 20mg cap on nicotine but I wouldn't vape more than 20mg (2%) as it's much easier to wein yourself off nicotine by buying bottles of ejuice of 18/12/6/3mg.
Disposable vapes might be 5% (50mg) and it's often very hard to find anything between that and 20 or 18mg. Kids are getting hooked on legal or blackmarket 5% disposables or closed pod systems which are expensive and a captive market and a way for big business to monopolize and turn it into cigarette industry v2.0 (12mg is about equal to most cigarettes)
This is brilliant, really informative and clearly debunks the myths that still persist around vaping.
Needs to be all over main stream media and shared far and wide.
That would require journalists. Unfortunately, those don't exist anymore. They've been replaced (or have simply become) people who write and or verbally report 'opinion pieces'.

This is so good guys! I tried to quit ciggies so many times that I had given up giving up. I bought an ecigs years ago just as a gadget that appealed to my geeky side. Within a month I had accidentally quit cigarettes for good. What was more I ENJOYED it!
Total game changer, and will make tobacco obsolete if only the tabloids would stop scaring people off them.
Same here I had NOOO intention of quitting but after vaping gummy bear flavor I couldn't stand the taste of cigarettes. I am so happy that I can run and not get winded. My hair and clothes don't smell like an ashtray.
I accidentally quit too. Had a vape for 4 days and realised I hadn't smoked a cigarette the whole 4 days and just never went back.
The reason vaping stays in the shit with the news in America is there is a tobacco act where big tobacco pays states money depending on sales. The states have already spent that money. And now they aren't getting as much money because a shit ton of people started vaping. So the news and the government are in this together.
@@jtmunn420 I know it's a bit of necro reply, but it's amazing how entrenched the cigarette lobby is worldwide. Especially the taxes lol. Cigarette programs funded by cigarette taxes driving up those taxes so they can make more money, while demonizing the safer alternatives and keeping smokers hooked to keep the money flowing.
Then they have the gall to say it's all for the good of the populace lol

So many of these stories sound like my own. For years now I though I was the only one who experienced this. I started smoking cigarettes at 14 and smoked 2pm a day until I was 26 when I was having debilitating coughing fits and couldn’t make it up a flight of stairs. Switched to vaping and now I’m 33. I can run I can climb stairs and I don’t cough uncontrollably every morning and throughout the day anymore. Docs here in the USA have told me I’m causing more harm to myself by vaping than smoking. It’s amazing to see research elsewhere that confirm my beliefs.
I started at 14 n smoked for nearly 40 yrs. Think about how much dage that is. I literally could not breath anymore. Vaping saved my life. I can run again. My knees hurt but I can breath.
I live in the USA and here is the truth... The Drug company's Eli Lilly and others create the not smoking products nicotine patches and nicotine gum that's marketed and they make money. if everyone stopped using those to move to vaping that's more money that the'll lose.. That is the only reason that vaping is seen so bad in the USA is MONEY $$$
I switched 11 years ago, after smoking for 35 years. The improvement in my health was dramatic, and began almost immediately. I have no desire to quit vaping. But, my health (especially my lungs) were in such decline while smoking that I have serious doubt I'd be alive today if I hadn't switched.
@@sheri4673 I'm not the best to answer this, because I make my own eLiquid. And that's become nearly impossible since the US shipping ban is largely in place now. Fortunately, I'm stocked up for life with nic base. Besides saving a ton of money, mixing your own gives you the huge advantage of knowing precisely what is in your eLiquid.
The least harmful is that which contains the fewest ingredients. In my case, that is just two, propylene glycol and nicotine. No flavorings nor additives whatsoever. If one is willing to go zero nic, they could even vape pure PG, VG, or a mix of the two, for the ultimate in safety.
Reduced risk vaping also avoids excessive temperatures. Cloud chasers definitely are not concerned about the safest in vaping.
Unfortunately, commercial eLiquid manufacturers are not required to provide an ingredients list, which makes the pursuit of the healthiest eLiquid largely a guessing game unless you mix your own. For coil life, it's generally accepted that it helps to avoid dark and sweet liquid.
Although I no longer participate, I would recommend e-cigarette-forum.com for lots of good & friendly advice.
Vape On!
Good for you man, keep it up!
@@Vector_Ze why'd they ban shipping on vape goods? Does it harm brick and mortar shops at all?
im so happy for tou my friend so all the bullsht aside no matter what people say vaping is certainly better for you?
@@colbychaoscovingtonwarzone7531 Better than smoking? Absolutely, no question whatsoever!
BUT, IMO, it should never, under any circumstances, be taken up by a person who is not already addicted to smoking. It is not harmless! It IS less harmful.
Well done Yorkshire Cancer Research! Thank you. I can only pray this video will be viewed and shared by some of our US legislators who oppose vaping. 🙏
The Vape mail ban goes in effect in about a month. United States so if you don't like overpaying at your local store, I'd make a big order now because soon it will be illegal to send Vapes through the mail
It wouldnt make a difference, the ban isnt about peoples health. Never was
@@chance2413 actually if they ship other than FedEx or usps they can still do it
Thank you so much! After 40 years of smoking and trying to quit so many times, vaping became a life line but i was beginning to wonder after all the bad press I’ve been hearing. So glad to have found this.♥️
Of all the mistakes ive made in my 45 years, starting smoking was absolutely the worst one (thanks joe camel)! Vaping is an excellent quit tool. Too bad there is so much bad information.
I think the bad information is coming from the government.
Vaping is a godsend for me. Id have never stopped smoking without it.
I don't intend to stop vaping as it's my only vice and i enjoy it - thanks for this film.
Awesome video... I haven't smoked a cigarette in 6 years, thanks to vaping. I thought I would never be a non-smoker after smoking for 37 years.
Smoked for 7 years, switched to vaping on April 1st, 2015. Because of the date, no-one (except my cousin who got me into vaping) believed I was really gonna follow through. Over six years later and I still don't use tobacco. If you're a smoker, switch now. You'll love being able to breathe, taste your food again, and be close to others without being self-conscious about how you or your breath smells. I build my own coils and buy juice in bulk, vaping for me costs 10+ times less than smoking.
I literally just said yesterday that vaping was worse... The misinformation is strong.
Glad I saw this
This is a spectacular documentary
Absolutely the only thing that has helped me to quit smoking.
Appreciate the effort of all the people involved in this. Making subtitles available in different languages would be greatly helpful because a lot of us have older relatives that don't know english too well, are heavy smokers and don't trust vaping at all, they may be swayed by a video like this if they'd be able to understand it.
My husband and I, both smoked for over 40 years and we totally quit smoking with vape products. We are forever grateful. The medical industry is NOT interested in health, they are only interested in profit and control. Sadly it's been this way since the beginning of modern medicine and growing worse by the day.
Yes, here in Canada, they have suddenly decided that 'to prevent youth from vaping' they will now ban all flavours other than mint, menthol or tobacco. None of which I have ever used, nor will I ever. Yet, if youth switched from smoking to vaping, I call that a win. They are just going to make it so difficult and more expensive (as they now want to add an excise tax, too) that nobody will be using it to quit smoking. Oh, wait, there will be a black market full of shitty unregulated products to choose from. Yes, that is the ONLY thing they will accomplish with a flavour ban and price gouging......black market swells, more go back to smoking and the rest are using unregulated risky products. Yeah, sure, that is going to be better than it is now, right? *rolls eyes*
@@crenaud590 - Who knows how it will go in the US, good thing I like menthol. Canada is currently on the verge of total totalitarianism, I hope people continue to wake up here in the states. It's not looking good.
@@crenaud590 Personally, I use no flavoring at all, the vape is essentially a nicotine inhaler. Just VG and nicotine.
That’s why it’s important to make healthcare free. In the US it pays to have sick people, while in the UK it will cost the government.
@@thevindictive6145 - Nope, there's no leverage in anything that's free. I think you forgot what comes after socialism.
As someone who is vaping its nice to see some unbiased research from a country not basing their oppinion on who pays the most. Hope Denmark follows up and start making vaping more common.

I am 50 and I smoked cigs for 32 years. Tried everything to quit and nothing worked. Discovered vaping 8 years ago and never had a cig. Since. I feel much healthier and more so I know exactly what is in my e liquid as I make my own.
So thankful I came across this film. Thank you! I feel like this will give my parents some comfort that I am not in harms way. Thank you!
Outstanding video! Smoked a pack of cigarettes every day for 16years with tight chest, wheezing, disgusting phlegm production and crazy coughing in the morning. Switched to vaping a few weeks ago and all of this disappeared!! Although this is UK based it’s universally relevant. Law makers the world over need to see this.
I had the beginning stages of emphysema and was told I had six years maybe if I quit today. That was 10 years ago, and I no longer wake up and cough up blood, that was a daily ritual in the morning, every morning, my lungs were complete garbage due to the smoking of traditional cigarettes. My doctor said that it's unbelievable but my lungs look like a new born baby's lungs in comparison to how they looked before. I don't care what anyone says, vaping saved my life, and I will never be caught with a cigarette in my mouth. And holy crap I can smell things and taste things, it's like being a kid again only I'm 41, and still have a lot of time left. It's hard to believe that when I was in my early 30's, I was facing death due to a cigarette. Never again.
You definitely shouldn’t be vaping with emphysema realistically you waited too long we both should know emphysema doesn’t get better it can only get worse
Thank you! 35 year x-smoker for 7-8 years thanks to vaping.
I'm a 50 year x-smoker who started vaping 14 years ago and feel great!
I only smoked for about 5 years, but i quit and went to vaping immediately, and its already been a year! its honestly been the best thing for me. All these lovely comments have made me feel like i can quit nicotine all together.
I was smoking since I was 14. I was up to a pack a day by the time I was legally able to purchase them. Which was extremely expensive and I felt horrible. When I went to the smoke shop for the first time, I asked about vaping products. They helped me get set up for my first run, and I bought a pack of cigarettes with them. Those cigarettes went stale, and I stayed away from them since. The only times I smoke now are while camping, and otherwise I use my vape. I feel better, I smell better, and every doctor I’ve been to says my lungs are perfectly healthy.
Thank you Hon Lik for saving me and many many other people! One day I hope the public give you the awards you deserve!
After 20 years of smoking, while trying everything to quit, only vaping worked for me. I am a smoke-free nicotine addict for 8 years now, and my life has changed in many big ways, thanks to it.
Thank you for the video! It has to be spammed all over the internet.I will ask for your permission to translate it in italian as is. Well done!
Brilliant doco. I started vaping about ten days ago and I gone from fourty cigarettes a day to ten, in just ten days, I finally have hope of a longer life, with out cigarettes. John
Thank you for the effort put into getting this message out into the world! Vaping has changed my life for the better. I can feel the difference with every breath that I take.

What I did was lower the amount of liquid nicotine gradually, you will not feel a difference. You will notice with time that you are less and less addicted. It is also cheaper!
@@colourgrade3038 he is talking about is not being able to give up nicotin or cheap or expensive. he mentions that the purchase and sale of vaping products is prohibited in his own country and therefore access to these products is irregular and problematic.
Make your own liquid, it is only 3 ingredients. Pg and VG are both used in totally different unrelated industries, so those should be legal. Getting nicotine would be the only issue involved.
@@rdizzy1 I do too. Yip 3 ingredients. Sometimes I treat myself and add 15-20% flavouring, but usually it's just 70/30 vg/pg + nicotine base.
Love all of you people for making this video. I'm here in upstate N.Y WOW the first part gave me goosebumps. I went from a pack a day. Unforeseen life events pushed me to clearing three packs a day knowing it was going to kill me. I was a dual user for 3 months. 2 years cig free! I was proud to quit and I really enjoyed the DIY side of vaping.
Thank you so much for this! I wish I knew how to get our government (US) to view this! But I will definitely be showing this to anyone who sees vaping in such a negative light! Well done!
Thank you. It's so well explained. I'm less worried about vaping now. Some doctors are against vaping and saying shouldn't inhale smoke or steam in the first place. I quit smoking and started to vape with 1mg nicotine for quite some time. I stopped coughing during nights since I switched to vaping. I believe vaping is much safer than smoking as well
Pack a day smoker for 15 years. Nothing EVER made me not care for cigarettes than vaping. I just couldn´t quit I thought. Then my brother told me about vaping and gave me 2. Best decision ever.
I smoked for 30 years @ 20 a day. I tried to give up many times but never lasted for longer than a couple of months. I tried vaping a couple of times but always thought it was pretty disgusting/pointless, mainly because I was using cheap e-cigs and fluids from garages or corner stores. Then I met up with a friend I hadn't seen for a while who'd been vaping for a long time and had a nice box mod with a decent tank that I tried - and was blown away by what an amazing substitute it was. I decided to buy one of my own around 5 years ago and haven't smoked a cigarette since.
I quit smoking thanks to quality vaping products just over 2 years ago. I feel FANTASTIC NOW! I can breath, no coughing, no wheezing & I don't stink. It makes me so sad when I see vaping put in a bad or even evil light when it literally can save so many lives! Thank you so very much for your hard work & for this video 💗
Thank you for this! I went from 20-30 rollups a day to vaping 3mg direct to lung and my body is so much healthier! Its been almost four years since I smoked, and yeah, it's changed my life!
Great video documentary. I've been vaping since 2010 after 35 years of chain smoking. My health improved, and it is fair to say I would be dead without vaping. These days I find cigarette smoking a disgusting habit. Great Britain's stance on this issue, is far more intelligent than the non scientific approach of my own country.
This is a really good video, I find it bizarre how some countries like mine (The Netherlands) ban vaping because of it's "bad for you" and other countries like the UK embrace it and help people quit smoking using vaping. This video makes a lot of good points and I wish more people knew about this.
This video is a momentous contribution to improve public health outcomes for smokers who are continuously being misinformed. Vaping E-cigarettes Saves Lives!
This is very well done, and clarifies the choices we face for harm reduction
I quit smoking ciggarettes at age 31 by switching to vaping. I turn 41 this week and yes i am still vaping but feel better than i did in my 20's and am healthier than i have ever been. Thank you for this video!!
I was a smoker for 18 years and could smoke close to 30 cig sticks a day for the last 2 or so years, Picked up vaping and managed to quit all completely within 4 years.
I did it all in a country that banned anything vaping related since right from the beginning, then the criticism and skepticism from family, friends, fellow peers made the daily battle even harder, Fortunately the kind support and love from the vape community guided and helped me along the way.
Now, I can eat well live well, run 5KM almost everyday with no issues no complications, and as a added bonus lost near 20KG since(I was terribly overweight).
I feel so much alive and loving every minute of it knowing I can keep up with my loved ones and be actually there for them.
So as cliche as it may sound, but when there's a will there's a way.
Stay strong, It is possible cause I'm a living proof!
THANKYOU! I'm a delighted ex-smoker (and much healthier) nicotine vaper, who is trying to deal with aggressive Australian regulations that seem designed to drive me back to smoking, after just over 9 years of astonishing health improvement. I am absolutely sick & tired of the argument that "we have no idea about long term effects of vaping", because they are conducting NO TESTS or EXPERIMENTS on long term vapers like me. My G.P. simply refuses to run tests on me, so no wonder there is 'no proof of potential harm'!!!. My response to that stupid & dangerous argument is: "You also have NO PROOF of any HARM caused by vaping". AUSTRALIAN LEGISLATORS are obviously being coerced, threatened or bribed by BIG TOBACCO, who, by the way, are the producers AND proffiteers of the troublesome, wasteful & expensive DISPOSABLE VAPE industry. Big tobacco has created the "problem" of youths vaping these disposables, so that when authorities ban them, all of those young vapers, who had previously never smoked, will have no choice but to queue at the tobacconist for CIGARETTES. BIG TOBACCO is conducting an aggregious harmful and premeditated campaign to get non-smoking youth addicted to nicotine, in FULL KNOWLEGE that their suspicious disposables WILL be banned! Capitalist WICKEDNESS in the extreme!
