Don’t take up OBGYN if you don’t want to. I am doing OBGYN residency from AIIMS but I only know how difficult it is to manage work life balance. It’s not work-hectic but is toxic bcz of residents there. Work as a gynaecologist is nice but not the people around. And it takes a toll of your life. So think and choose well. I’m regretting now. Gynaecologists in India are always troubled and have a poor self and family time.

trust me , AI in india is just like robotic surgery. Naam toh bhut sunte hain lekin koi jata nhi inke paas. india ki jo condition hain in terms of medical service, filhal next 50 years mein kuch nhi honewala. ai just ek technology ki tarah radiologists and even other professions ko assist karega.

sir i have got rank 1117. i wont get top medical college but i was thinking of taking up radiology from periphery.but i have heard they dont have own mri rather than have some private collaboration. does it affect your academic??
As in peripheral there are less no. Of USG machine in hospital, also sometimes ct and mri may not be available
But really you want to do radiology from peripheral then SRship must be there from good govt. College to make concept strong

So total 12 years...but this is bare minimum.If you take drops in any exam it will become more..
