So before skimboard companies existed, we had to improvise . For a while there was a trend to make skimboards from wooden stop signs - thats right in the afterhours get pliers and wrenches and commandeer a stop sign ; feather sand the bottom edges, parafin wax the top- & when the surf was sub par ? It was --- skimboarding !!!but that was nothing compared to the epic footage you guys are posting these days...no one was thinking about the designs you guys have- keep it up- I loved skimboarding way back then.....
