  • Those that know me, know I love light. Adding it, mixing it, colouring it and now with Rotolight using built in special effects to build story. Here his a recording of my session at Pinewood Studios.

thank you Simeon for sharing - probably one of the few youtube examples of using this light specifically for video in run and gun mode with advice on wider uses. Just got my Neo II x3 kit set. I also tried it out in a shop, and while the AEOS are just amazing - for my use and travel needs, the small form factor is something I can't do without

I can go to this channel and learn merely about gear or I can go to that channel and learn primary about specs, however I can truly say that this channel is distinctive in that its a one-stop shop, where I can learn about all aspects concerning video production from a business perspective. Love the content! Keep creating

Hi, what battery did you use here? Is it inside the pouch and hang it to the stand?

Can someone please explain to me how that light is so soft with no modifiers?

Zach Mecham the LEDs are all angled specifically. It’s also harder to get hard light from LED than soft, due to the way most manufacturers group LEDs to get the output

@@simeonquarrie interesting! You could really travel light without the need to use a softbox.

Sooner than that! I'm glad he was never any of my professors or school teachers, because I definitely would've failed his class (knocked out)...

Rotolight neo 2 is good for video. It is not good for the photo.
Those who bought it think the same thing.
Those who doubt ... wait a little longer to see all the comments of the photographers.
    No commercial videos ....
