Looked like an awesome day on PWS! Not to be “that guy”, but it’s generally best practice (and on page 82 of the Alaska Fishing Regs) to not gaff a fish you release. Still, you guys had some great weather and fishing! Our first trip of the season is on May 24th… can’t wait!
It was a ton of fun but a lot of work as well. It weird how the reflection was actually more clear than the above water view. Yellow eye is really yummy as well.
You guys picked some great weather days to be out on the water. It's not always like that, for sure. Those rockfish will make for some delicious meals. Thanks for sharing this video.
Lots of fish, and beautiful! Question: I don’t need GPS coordinates or anything, but could you tell me how many miles outside of Whittier you caught those? Thanks.
Very well done that spot looked familiar was it in prince or wales passage? looks like i missed both of you we spent 3 days out of Whittier spent 2 nights in fox farm bay and one night in humpback cove on the way back in
@@alaskacutthecord769 lol you know I am going to bust some chops. I had a bad rap of always catching the smallest fish down in Florida when I would go out. But a lot of times caught the largest.
WOW! So beautiful! What a great job❤
Thank you so much. It was a really fun trip.

Looked like a great fishing trip....that one spot was so calm that it looked like the boat was on glass...

You had great weather. How lucky can you be??? ha ha Really glad you caught a lot and had a great time. Thanks for sharing
The weather was predicted to be rain. It was the nicest weather I've ever seen on the ocean. The fishing was really awesome as well.
Awesome trip! Great video work! Great to meet you in Sportsman’s today! Keep it up! Hope to run into you again!
Hey bud great to meet you today as well. I'm sure we'll meet again. Look forward to it!
Great looking catch!
Awesome thank you!

I think we were all surprised, the forecast was rain. I hope you enjoyed it. Thank you.
The trip to Whittier is always fun. Hard to beat the scenery out on the water, but great fishing helps
I never get tired of that trip. One of the best campgrounds We've ever seen are just outside of the tunnel. The fishing was pretty darn good as well.
@@alaskacutthecord769 Whittier side or anchorage?
Anchorage side.
@@alaskacutthecord769 I'll have to take a look next time I'm out that way
Connecting from Curmudge inn Ak, great channel you have here. Will enjoy watching you do the things I never got to do.
Awesome! Thank you for joining!
Lots of fish, and beautiful!

Thanks.
It should've been about 45 or so miles? Not my boat so I'm not really certain. Sorry!
Awsome!
Thanks bud, next time maybe you can go.
You got a great day out there. But I have a question. Why do you gaff the fish you’re letting go?
Very well done that spot looked familiar was it in prince or wales passage? looks like i missed both of you we spent 3 days out of Whittier spent 2 nights in fox farm bay and one night in humpback cove on the way back in
Very nice. Did you have any luck? Not sure which passage this was my first time.
@@alaskacutthecord769 yes we limited on yellow eye, rockfish and halibut we caught 3 ling cod but one got away at boat it was crazy
Was that the smallest fish of the day Adam? It looks like you all had a great trip.
No Rob, not the smallest. One of the best though. It was exhausting but totally worth the effort.

My son does have some Ford ranger rim that he would be willing to get rid of.
Awesome. How should get a hold of you or him to see them?
@@alaskacutthecord769 sent you an email.
What cove was that
I don't remember the name. I'll have to look it up.
