Oh WOW!!!! I am so very very glad I found your TH-cam site!! I am also Canadian (born in Calgary [European Ancestors] living in Edmonton Alberta) it is so nice to see Canadian content and even more awesome to see/ learn Native artistry. Thank you so very much for sharing. I look forward to checking out your online store and watching further videos!
New subscriber here!!!! These earrings are absolutely beautiful!!! I've made a pair, following your instructions, and they are easier than I thought they woluld be... Thanks a lot!!!!
I'm starting my first ever earrings tonight. Someone sent me the link to this video to give me an idea on how to start my first pair of earrings. Thanks so much for the video! The bead colors I'll be using are red, yellow, orange, and white. Any suggestions on what would look nice pattern-wise.?
I made earrings following this tutorial.. my question is, are the beads supposed to move and bend over so easily after it’s finished? The beads don’t stay put, so they look funny when wearing them. Should I put some glue all around the thread at the hoop to keep them from moving?
It’s likely due to the size of beads you’re using. Size 8/0 beads don’t work so well with this pattern - they tend to “move around” as you describe. As you go, also ensure your pulling the thread tight every step of the way so that there’s no excess “length” anywhere. 😊
If someone can help me, I've never beaded before but I would like to try. I have a lot of beads packs that I've bought all with different assorted sizes but the package doesn't tell me the size of the beads, is there an easy way to measure beads? I think some are what are called seed beads, thank you!
hi i’m following the tutorial, but my beads keep angling toward the left sort of like they are bending over each other sideways and i can’t get them perfectly straight like yours 😭

How do you add thread when you run out 😩
Lovely job great instructions too. Could you make this as a necklace but instead of the hoop use a finer plastic coated wire?
Yes you can!
Very nice!
