What I would like to see in it’s “sister” in parallel is the same case stuffed with as many Lithium Ion batteries as possible. Then together they run as a hybrid. The sister turns out the same energy in storage, then the 3200 runs in (auto start) mode and re-fills the “sister”,, when the sister is full, the 3200 shuts down.
I'm no expert, but I asked someone who repairs generators for living this same question before. He said it's better to stop engine with eco mode on. And when starting give the engine a few seconds to warm up before opening the choke, then ~1 min or so before putting a load. He was talking about a carburetted generator, so I don't know if that applies to this gen or not. Hope this helps.
I made the mistake of purchasing one of these last year. It has been the worst experience I've had with any piece of machinery I've owned. Without question a poorly engineered and poorly constructed machine and Honda's conduct in dishonoring the warranty, because I had the audacity to actually use the generator, was not at all the behavior I expected. I will never purchase another piece of Honda equipment and I will never stop telling my story about the horrible experience I've had.
What's the point of having a generator if you can't use it while it's raining or snowing. So, it'll be just stored most of the year round then and you wouldn't be able to use it...
Can we just regular gas or does it need ethanol free gas?
Awesome stuff, Honda, Forwarding Dreams.

Quality as always 👍🏽
Can I use it for an inverter welding machine?
One thing I would like to know is what the suggestion is for starting and stopping on eco-throttle or not

$2800 for 3200 watts, that's ridiculous!
