    I literally just bought both of these and I'm playing around with them right now. I searched for a comparison and you posted this 9 hours ago. I'm only at the 4 min mark, but this is great! Simple and to the point!

      Glad I could help! I couldn't find a good comparison either so I was in the same boat as you lol.

    Can you do walking shots using the t3?

    Great video man! You definitely got a "LIKE" from me.
    Fortunately, I am using the Sony ZV-1, which has no problems with the Parrot Padcaster as far as wide shot is concerned...and I like the fact that the remote is more intuitive (and quieter) and the app works better. And I like how portable it is, so I'm gonna be sticking with the Padcaster.
    But I was curious if I just didn't know how to use the remote with the Desview app or if someone else experienced the same thing as far as not being able to change the settings and use half the buttons - turns out, wasn't just me! Thanks again!

    Regarding the inability to upload scripts to the desview. Can you simply copy and paste the text from your phone e. G. via Google docs into the app?

      Yes you can which is what I ended up just doing.

    @Tomwade , Very nice video, appreciate the good work. I am deciding between T3 vs Parrot PadCaster, but I'll be using two Mobile devices, 1 to record and the other one as the reading device. Do you still recommend the T3? Thanks for your awesome work again.

      I do. I love the parrot because it was so compact but I want to be able to use my 24mm. If your ok with 35mm and above, the parrot is a great option. Otherwise the T3 is my choice for versatility

      @@tomwadek make sense , my deal is , I’m trying to use my own cell phone to record videos on Instagram and Facebook and I will probably add another cellphone to read , so I was wondering if the parrot would be ideal or the T3 ? Not sure if you can answer this since you use an actual camera 😅.

      @@nioonthebeat623 sorry! I understand the question now. I believe the parrot will be ok with a cellphone just not at the wide shot if you have a iPhone pro. The diameter of the lens on a cell phone is much smaller so I don’t think you will have any obstruction. I would personally go with the parrot for a cellphone setup. Sorry for the confusion!

      @@tomwadek no no it was my mistake ! I didn’t explain myself! So , perfect I will go with the parrot instead . I just need it for social media and just need a more compact as you explained . Appreciate the advise mate , thanks 🙏

      One last question, does the parrot has a way of attaching the iPhone 12 Pro Max on the back ? I have been looking at the videos and I’m not sure it has someway of attaching on the back where the recording device goes .

    would any of these work with a panasonic g7 lumix using the stock kit lens?

    • @tomwadek
      @tomwadek  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You’ll have the ring adaptor for sure but it depends on the focal length you wanna shoot at

      @@tomwadek in my small room i found 14mm to be sort of my go to, would that be problematic with the desview? the kit lens is 14-42mm

      @@TheGeekyGuitarist I’m not familiar with that camera. Is it an aps-c? I use full frame. Search the question section on Amazon.
