Amazing work! So good to see someone making the 2CV in lego with the correct suspension and drive train. Love to see how you meshed the leading arm suspension to the drive shafts. I have tried in a few games to recreate the suspension for both the DS and the 2CV. The suspension itself is easy but working out the drive shafts to me was a problem because they move on a different axis. Love your work and keep it up!
Such a great move ! Amazing suspension effect so close from reality for whose old enough to have driven this car in real life 🎉 I am not in the 1:8 scale but if you rework your existing 2cv model 1:15 scale, it will be also a great "gift" for your fans...me first !
Thanks for your comment ! Yes the Mini 2CV would need a redesign but not because of the parts, more about the finishing of the surface, but I am afraid with an increase of price (more details, more parts, higher price)
Notice that many of “ peoples car” have been available in a Lego set. Volkswagen beetle., Austin, mini, so I want to see them make a Citroen 2CV. It would be incredible to have the suspension that you have created be in a brick and brick body set.
I wish too ! But I think the automotive brand now are more focused of advertizing new model. So even if LEGO acquire the IP for citroen, I do not think they will produce old 2CV. More a recent car as they do with the Peugeot. In the meantine, other brick company (chinese) own the Citroen IP and have release some sets, Cada for instance.

Wonder if your model will fit my Lego technic 2CV engine. I suspect it’ll be to large although without the cosmetics it just might squeeze in
