I've just bought these for less than half price because they're not trending right now.. soooo looking forward to using them especially since watching your tutorials. Thank you for sharing!
Love your peacock!! I'm not a huge fan of copic either, or any alcohol markers. They are easy to blend but too much money for something that could potentially fade. If you are ever interested in trying any other markers that are also lightfast, Faber-Castell Pittpens have lightfast ratings on them, a lot of them are lightfast (not the whole line, but most) and you can find a list of their colors with lightfast ratings on their site. Also each marker is labeled with lightfast information too so it takes out the guess work. They are india ink based and are a bit cheaper than pigment markers. Also, they have brush tip which is fun for blending! I love them!
Wonderful Lisa. Thanks for this vid. I've been working with Copic and not entirely comfortable with them. These Winsor markers are a wonder. Thanks so much for this.
Peacocks are my favorite subjects to draw/paint but the tail always intimidates me so I only draw the head, but now i want to try drawing this same one in graphite. I love the soft feathers in the background against the head, amazing work. :)
Great video Lisa! 😁 The peacock looks great. W&N sent me 5 of these markers to test, but then I went and bought like another 20 markers to go along with those. 😉 I will be testing this for Pyrography with a slightly different way to use them that I think will work. I can't wait to get at least one of my projects done so I can get started. Now I'm just thinking of what to burn that will look awesome with these. 😃
Love the review Lisa! Your art is gorgeous!! The vibrancy of these markers is awesome on the Yupo heavyweight 140 lb. paper. What do you recommend for sealing your finished piece since these markers do rewet?
I just frame it behind glass. I asked winsor & newton if they had a varnish for spraying over it they recommended and they never got back to me. I suspect with yupo though that it's best not to add anything wet on top.
Dick Blick's Art Supplies are discontinuing the set of 12 "assorted tones" and reduced price to $32.07. I don't know if W&N is discontinuing this set completely. Hopefully this set is not really old or something like that. Anyway, thought I'd let you know, because a set that looks exactly the same on Amazon is almost double the price.
Since you're really into water media now, you might want to take a look at Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. They're water soluble and have a real brush tip. Very fun. (Not lightfast)
Hi, I was wonder I messaged you on Instagram a while ago do you respond to them? Because you haven't 😕 Anyways these look super cool 😊 What's you favorite color for this set of markers?
Unlike you, copic markers and I have a healthy relationship. From the beginning starting out with marks, I’ve been so curious about these set of markers. I haven’t gathered the courage to start out ☹️

Beautiful!! I hadn’t really thought about markers that much before this.
Thanks :)
Love how it looks like a painting!!!!
That's what I like so much about these!

I looove painting peacocks! I wasn't sure how this would work with markers though. I am really interested to see how yours in graphite comes out! :D
I really like this look, great job 👍👍
wow these are incredible markers!:) Thats a really pretty drawing
Wish i could see them on differnt paper because im not sure i would like this plasticy paper....would i get similar results on normal paper?
Lachri is awesome as usual. But smudging those markers with the fingers? What kinds of chemical might be absorbed into the body? Does anyone know?

LOL You sound like me! I went on a huge marker shopping spree after the first time I used them :P
Can you use any kind of varnish or fixative on these?
This is stupendous 😭😍😍😍

I know Michaels still carries them :)

wow cool !!! I wanna buy them ! looks fun
They really are a lot of fun!
looks great
I have to try it
How do these markers compare price wise to copics?
Katywu Ste I think they are about the same, or even more expensive! :)
Winter Star thanks for that, that’s way out of my price zone
Katywu Ste Yes, out of mine too. You're welcome. Sorry for my bad english, it's not my native language.
Where I live, theyre about half the price of copics (€2.65/marker)

Nope, I don't check DMs :)
I really want to try those now. And compare to Prismacolor.
Prismacolor and I had a similar relationship to that of Copics and I haha.
Oh no! I love Prismacolor markers. They don't blend the best and aren't lightfast but I don't sell anything anyway. Just love their colors.
These markers kinda remind me of gouache. The way they can be reactivated with water and the paint-like texture really makes me think of gouache.

Hello Lisa!!.
Hi Faith!

Thank you for markers review. Bird is a corn
Yeah I can’t really see where youre pointing 😂
LOL I always /facepalm when I catch myself doing that :P
Looks a bit like vangoth
A van Gogh starry night painting with these would be SO fun!
Lol poor copics
