I had the related in size, but a completely different engined Kawasaki MC 1 9O. Back in 1972. It was my 2nd bike, but the first one I really started wrenching on. The bike was nearly bulletproof, but when something did go wrong it took months and months to get parts. I still have very fond memories of it though.
@@nospartsnow Oh absolutely. I'm pretty sure it was just our local dealership and their screwed up parts dept.. They went out of business a couple of years later.
My Dad bought me one of these new in 1970, I was 13. Cool trail bike, had 5 gears low range & 5 in high range like the Honda Trail 90's did. Wish I still had that little red Kawasaki......
I have 2 of these I bought from the original owners a year ago. They had been sitting 30 yrs. Both had 472 miles on them. They aren't real pretty but are running good now and sitting in my collection
I love it was my first bike, the sound just took me back 40 years to when I bought it of my best mates brother. It might struggle a bit to get me around at 125kg now but would love to have one. Been looking for 5 years and can't find a Trail Boss anywhere. Melbourne Australia.
How much is this bike worth? I found a 1974 Kawasaki G4TR on craigslist for $1650 and its pretty clean and low miles. Owner says its been sitting in the garage for years. Thanks! Awesome bike!

Looks and sounds great although the tickover is a bit high. I'm restoring a 1972 G4TR which runs but is a bit sun bleached and shabby.
