Cool review. I'm an owner of a 1993 Nissan Gloria.... an amazing car! Sister twin to the Cedric. I was stationed in Japan in the 80's love it and the cars. Have owned(wish I kept) a 1969 Nissan Fair Lady 2000, 1985 RX-7, 1996 x 2, 1999 x 3 (still own a 1999 now) Mazda Miata....and.....drum roll......a BEAUTIFUL 1993 Nissan Gloria GT...18,000 original miles!! And she's MINT!!! Lux to the max!!! LOVE IT!

Seeing all the cars Japan made for themselves in the 90's 25+ years ago, they really gave us nothing but watered down versions of some of their best cars. Oh well, at least they are mostly still on the road for us to enjoy now.

I currently have a 2003 Grand Marquis (basically a crown Vic with leather interior) and youe comparing that to this is perfect! I just discovered this car, and if and when I have the money, I am definitely importing one
The Cedric was a luxury car, not intended for speed. It was a flagship. I had rides in many Cedrics

If you notice the emblem on the front looks sort of like a Lincoln emblem, because they basically copied it.

You should drive a w140 chassis Mercedes s500 or s600. Interior features and quality are like nothing you have ever seen. I have a 95 s500 extended edition and it has heated reclining rear seats. Pretty cool stuff to see these rare cars. Thanks for the video

America did get a car like this, but much better! I owned one and lived it...2003-2004 Infiniti M45. Two year only model. Great car but very hard to find in the US in good condition. We got a 4.5 litre V8 instead of that old v6, and a much more luxurious interior and dynamic stability control. Man ...I miss that car.
The 2003 Cedric was still better than the M45

@@davidpistek6241 Yes the Cedric was a flagship I think. I knew a few people who had one. This review wasn't really a review. He didn't touch on lots of features like frameless doors
I have a 97 F250 Powerstroke with a 5 speed manual you can do a review on. Be. Bit of a change up from what you usually do
It has fewer features than the Y31 (hard to top the Y31 :D) but although even more refined. There was also the Cima based on the Cedric/Gloria. This is the Gran Tourismo. The "sportier" version but the VIP had more option. Even GPS!
The craftsmanship is outstanding
I just purchased a 1990 Y31 Brougham VIP Turbo, and let me just say that you are not wrong.
