Could you please tell us if there are elevators, since there are 4 floors. We stayed at the RIU Negril (Jamaica) earlier this year and each building had 3 floors but NO elevators!
Is there a resort in the area you would recommend in the same price range? Just returned from a Riu Palace in the Cancun area and are looking for different scenery. That was our second Riu trip and except for the location, they are all very similar.
I have been to a few Riu’s myself and would somewhat agree. However, in Cabo, the split between all-inclusive and non all-inclusive hotels are about 50/50. Less there than other Mexican resort towns. Is that what you’re wanting?
from other riu's that I have stayed....can you order a vodka at supper? other riu we were regulated to just beer or wine. I enjoy an eye opener at brekki but again, only served mimosas
Hey there! I think the restaurants do only stick to wine and beer because they don’t have a bar or storage for the liquor bottles. You might have to go to one of lounges or bars in the morning after breakfast to get your “pick me up”. 😜
We paid an average of about $450 per night, and I would say it wasn’t really worth that price point (We did book a little late tbh). Your rate is better, probably because it’s towards the end of a high season, so it might be worth checking out for sure! :) Have a great time!
Of course!! 😊 The ocean in Cabo has pretty strong currents, so it makes it really hard to swim when the waves are slamming you into the shore. 😜 However, the closer you are to the marina on the Sea of Cortez side, the calmer it gets and easier it is to swim. 🌊
Unfortunately, no. There aren’t really any parties at this property. But, next door at Santa Fe (which you are allowed to go to) there are themed parties that can get cray cray if you’re looking for that. 👍🏼
Thank you for the detailed review the hubby and I are booked for August ⛱️✌🏽
You are very welcome! Hope you guys have an amazing time!
I liked your review overall on the few I’ve seen this far. We’re going there soon and you really helped me prepare for what to expect. Thanks. 😊😊
My pleasure! Thanks for watching! 💕
Been twice and going back January 26th and yr reviews were on point. Gett'em

Yes!! Loved the energy, quality of the video and footage of the resort.

Casa is the Mexican word for home. Plumeria is the name of a tropical plant. Google them together

I'm coming next month, night club open every night?
@@buddyboy341 unfortunately, there is no night club on this particular property. You will have to go to the pool parties next door at Riu Santa Fe.
Thanks for this review! Can you elaborate on why you can't swim in the ocean? Thanks
Nasty undertow. You can swim in the ocean 10 minutes towards the marina.
Of course!! 😊 The ocean in Cabo has pretty strong currents, so it makes it really hard to swim when the waves are slamming you into the shore. 😜 However, the closer you are to the marina on the Sea of Cortez side, the calmer it gets and easier it is to swim. 🌊
How are the parties, is it good for a group of single men?
Unfortunately, no. There aren’t really any parties at this property. But, next door at Santa Fe (which you are allowed to go to) there are themed parties that can get cray cray if you’re looking for that. 👍🏼
@@TimTheTuber - Thank you! Would you by any chance know if that one is adults only?
@@WestEndNAB my pleasure! It is not adults only, but the pool parties are. 🎉
This the only thing bad about this resort it's just boring and has no good entertainment at all.
Yes, I agree! If you like a cool vibe with minimal entertainment, then this hotel will work for you.
