Really appreciate you tagging me on the video Old Pharts. The Rough Ryders are such a tremendous value and you've got some great examples. The handle on the lobster knife is fantastic. Thanks again. Cheers.
@@Jimthechevywheelman welcome, every time I go on Ebay I find a Schrade I want. So many different special editions and Scrimshaws. I made a promise to myself to do a Schrade Sunday every week until Jan 2026. Of course that means I need to buy 4 more Schrade knives🤣😅😂 Take care 🙏
Some really beautiful pieces. One of the things I like about collecting cutlery is that there are so many different options. Thanks for sharing and God bless.
@@dennismcmenemy9714 I really like lockbacks. Actually I finally found the one I have wanted two days ago ( The Queen Paul Revere Rawhide Hunter) and it should arrive this coming week. Take care brother 🙏
I love the sowbelly pattern but that Pop Eye knife is awesome. I love that equal end cattle knife too. That file work is awesome!!! That empire looks just about new!!
@@RandysWSG the Empire is from a collection out of Colorado of NOS Imperials. The 3 shell knives came from the same collection. As for the Cattle knife I got lucky ... still a favorite carry. Take care Brother ✝️ 🙏
Some very cool knives! Rough Ryder makes a great knife. The old imperial novelty knives are fun and a great statement of what was pop culture of the time. Cool story of your grandfather as well. Have a great weekend!
Thanks, I don't think I would have collected the knives I have now if not for getting lucky in my early days buying knives. Take care brother and enjoy the weekend 🙏
I have a vintage 1 blade LK that was my grandfather's. It's not worth much, but I will be handling it down to my son. I also have a vintage Colonial 2 blade knife.
@@pauljasmine353 I am a firm believer in handing down knives ... I even go so far as to give my children and grandchildren knives for Christmas. Those knives you have will become sentimental treasures someday. Take care 🙏
Now Popeye is getting back in the day :D Very nice batch of knives...The Camillus looks to be in great shape...The latest garage sale pickups I found were a couple of Schrade Uncle Henry fixed blades. I am finding Rough Ryder is having the same appeal as my old Frost Cutlery and vintage slip joints...thanks for the vid....Jim
@@jedijimknives Rough Ryders are the best value for the money as far as I am concerned. But I am trying to build a decent collection of Schrade knives. I considered Case but whats the fun in collecting what everyone else collects😅🤣
That knife collecting at it's best 😊❤❤❤
@@peterfreidel7721 Thanks!!! I don't know about best ... but so far it has been fun 😁 Take care 🙏

Not having a pocket knife for several years. A new Buck 110 bought in 2018 started it all for me. Always enjoy your knife stories 😊
