Thanks, glad you liked it. I finally quit using the inhaler they subscribed yesterday and am already feeling better. When I researched it said the inhaler can cause a yeast infection in the mouth and throat. Hope you feel better soon my friend. Take care 🙏

What's wrong with being from California??? Growing up there was great .. but you couldn't pay me enough to go back there now!!!! We agree with you though .... our decorations go up the weekend after Thanksgiving, and stay up until January 1st. Why have 50 yrs worth of decorations if you can't enjoy them for at least a month😊😊. @@Jimthechevywheelman Thanks Jim. My large lockback on my hip was and is a Craftsman (Schrade made) that I bought in early 70's in my pocket was a Western Boulder 742 until it disappeared!!! You have a Merry Christmas Jim 🙏

⁠Good Christmas Morning. My Camillus made craftsman 5 inch lockback was bought back in 81 /82 . It had finger groves ( similar to the 110 finger cut outs) with what was called ‘soft grip’ rubber handles (which held up surprisingly well) . It sits next to my lazy boy ( retired like myself). Used only for letter opening now or light house hold work. My wife would love having a dollar for every time I said: ‘can you believe the condition this knife is in after all it’s been through? I forget what it cost - more than the similar Schrade LB seven or buck 110.. ( it was an extravagant purchase at the time ) I was crazy careful about the sharpening of it… mostly using ceramic rods. Really no scratches on it. And a nickel bolsters are surprisingly great shape. I corresponded with HT ( EDC) about this model knife . And he will be featuring one like it soon. I have been a bit obsessed with this Sears knife . Seldom do you see them on eBay. Most folks have never seen one.. it was made for a very limited time . I think it was Phill Gibbs in a forum remark that said that production issues made it such that it wasn’t worth it to camillus . I have only seen them about once a year - and I keep a close eye on them ( obsessed😳) with active searches.

@@Cooks-carvings My favorite carry lately has been a Scrimshaw stockman (Seagulls with lighthouse). Will have to show it soon as the Scrimshaw is getting very lite. When not carrying it I carry a 194 or the cheap brother W001 (it takes a dangerously sharp edge) Take care brother and Merry Christmas 🙏

I did find a matched set on the bicentennial American Eagle commemorative series at a price I could afford, so I still might find that set. I have found out that they made the sets in red , brown and green bone . I think the one I’m getting is in the brown bone . There’s a red bone set on the bay right now but the guy wants 5 bills for it . I thought that was a little steep .

@@Rancherinaz The set I have was on the average about $250 to $300. One day I went on Ebay and saw it for $120 and it was an early set. I was really surprised to pick the set up at $24 a knife with the display case.

Wow . Thats a killer deal . Sometimes you see these deals pop up on a “Buy it now” sale and can’t hit the button fast enough . Or , there’s those pieces that you gotta wonder why nobody outbid you on it . Deals are out there if you’re patient and quick on the draw when you se ‘em .

I used to carry the same knife all the time. But, more and more people in town found out that I was a collector and started asking what I was carrying. It was then that I started grabbing an unusual knife to switch out with my edc for the trip to the store. I tried the modern knives just can't bring myself to switch ... I love the look and feel of a vintage slipjoint and have carried one since 1963😊 Take care brother and you have a blessed Christmas season 🙏
