Thank you so much for your videos of rebuilding the M18. I have the same one and checked the compression a month ago and it was low. I had no real idea of how to rebuild it or what to do. I'm on the home stretch of the rebuild now thanks to you. Just have the valve gaskets to put on, order new breather hose, breather filter and put on the flywheel and tins. Now I can move onto the start of painting my simplicity 7117 this weekend.

Looking forward to the initial run. I enjoy the in-depth details that I never knew to look for.

Devil's in the details, that's even more true in engine work, ya know?
      Thanks for sticking around!

What a find ! my lawn boy GT18 has this engine and and I’m sorting through possibilities after it quit and will not start. I’ve replaced the fuel pump and line but that didn’t fix it, checked for spark and got nothing on either plug soooo I’ll be pulling the motor to get at the coil

Glad you are saving that old Lawn Boy GT. Not many of those around! Its a good chance to clean all the cooling fins, etc while you have it down for the coil replacement.

Thanks again Justin Either gravity is increasing or the flywheels just keep getting heavier. I think it's gravity. Excellent work once again

What is the part number for the crank seal behind the electric clutch? On the M18.
