What a gr8 simple basic comparison 👌. Have not used the Mother's Ceramic but am a long-term fan of their Carnuba waxes. I have extensive use with the TW Hybrid Solutions Ceramic system and continue to be impressed with overall performance of shine/durability/protection. As you mentioned about the impressive hydrophobic properties of the TW Polish as a stand alone, I've concluded that it really is an excellent all'round'er all-in-one. Sort of a next step-up "cleaner wax." And, as you are displaying, a terrific base layer especially for the Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray. I've found the Polish offers very decent polishing properties - medium light cut. It's not a compound for sure but as a second stage correction or for light swirl/oxidation it works quite well - a little goes a long way. I'm really interested to see your results. Keep up the good work. Shine on you crazy diamond!
Thanks man! I was quite impressed with the polish and wax, I do like how the mothers polish can work with other ceramic products, not just the ones they make. Last time I long term tested TW ceramic spray coating it lasts 3-4 months tops. We’ll see how it does this time round coming into winter, but with a base layer (last time was 2 layers 24 hours apart of just the spray coating).
Not sure about not prepping first since you dont know what the body shop did or what is was exposed to while there. The two sides may have been polished by 2 different people with different products but i guess the average joe might apply this way so interested in seeing the results
Shipping in Canada is always insane. More so right now with floods and winter storms. I would pay for air freight honestly, sometimes these products spoil in transit if they freeze (www.Carzilla.ca won’t ship certain items if it’s freezing out).
I can’t run a mic on my gimbal as the lighting port is blocked by the mount. I’m going to get a video rig cage soon so I can run a mic and possibly some other stuff. Also, I am a very muffly talker.

Where's the update???? There's no update! There was 30 minutes lost. If I'm missing it I appologize, but damn. I'll wing it brother.
Sorry I mentioned the update in another video, they all died within a couple months, with mothers ahead by a slim margin.

It wasn’t polish or touched, they painted the bumper off the car (previous protection products were still on the hood, as well as the swirls).
Wow looks great 👌👌👌
Where did you get the cmx polish in Canada
Www.eshine.ca has it
@@sheepstardetail i just ordered some from there actually. Shipping was insane too Alberta tho

@@sheepstardetail i have some.of the cmx wash and coat that seperated out that i suspect is from the cold
You probably need to shake the crap out of it. A lot of the ceramic infused products require a good shake.
Wish the test panel was black
I’ll be testing these on a black panel soon.
Any updates?
They both failed pretty much around 2 months. I started a new test with 6 new products.
@@sheepstardetail really? I got 11-12months out of cmx on a peterbilt that sees ALOT of mud, rain, and snow up here in northern Alberta.
@@Saddedude yeah, I was surprised as well. CMX was stronger than turtle wax overall but both weak enough that I didn’t see a reason to keep it going.
Do us a favor and invest in a quality microphone. You were really muffled.
