- Lyrics:
Lost in my own World
Lost in my own World
Lost in my
Lost in my own World
Lost in my own World
Lost in my
Getting to the right
Getting to the wrong
Getting mine
Getting to the right
Getting to the wrong
Getting high
Losing your mind
Losing your mind
It's bluring
It's fading
Your soul's on fire
It's black and white
Burning inside
Burning inside
Burning into white
Burning inside
Burning inside
Burning into night
Yourself collides
Yourself collides
Yourself into mine
Yourself collides
Yourself collides
Yourself splinters like
Losing your mind
Losing your mind
It's bluring
It's fading
Your soul's on fire
It's black and white
Blurring the light
Blurring the light
It's ours for the taking
Flickering colors
It's black and white
Static-X is so underrated.
Who's still listening in 2023? 👍
been listening for YEARS and wont stop till im dead \m/
Hell yeah
👍
2024 🤘😝
Just brought my son
I'm turning 60yrs old in February 2024, and have listened to Static X all along. I saw them in Reno, Nevada last year in March 2023, with Fear Factory and Dope. They're Great live, btw🦇🧡🦇🖤 Was my 2nd time seeing Fear Facfory, and they're still bad ass
Been awhile seeing static x and fear factory. 41 now rock on fellow metal disco head! I will do the same till I die!
@@millermanhal Yayyyy!!! Party on, dude! Safely, that is💯😊
Isn't he solist dead?
@@Latvia1985yes, Wayne Static has passed. Their lead singer now goes by Xero. His true identity has never been revealed, but we all know who he is.
@@eatingwithamybhamIsn't it Edsel Dope?
This song was playing at my local grocery store. Friggin' amazing
holy shit wish it would play in mine...
That's nuts!
i need to know where your grocery store is
Damn, I want to shop there!
I don't believe you. That would be awesome
This is a banger was born in 97 have always been a metalhead and somehow this band passed me by. Barely discovered them a week ago and have been binging their albums
I only became a fan of theirs about two summers ago. Machine is definitely their best album
Go check out the live stuff. You REALLY missed a good show. A lot of singers can't do what they do live. He did not have that limitation.
Katie Hamilton here, using David's phone (obviously ),hey, better late than never, my friend. Machine and Wisconsin Death Trip are my fave albums, welcome to the screamo fan club of doom! Well done Pal😊
it was a great time when wayne was alive in the 90s a place for ravers and metal heads combined god i miss him
Welcome to metal disco!!!! Been a fan since 97...seen them in 98! At the age of 16. Love at first listening, and metal head for life! At 41years old my 13 year old is one now too.
Wayne's singing and guitar style will never be duplicated him and static x were one of a kind
You never heard or korn? Both amazing bands , similar style
@@hankstacy2411 Sameish but very different at the same time
2020 Losing my Mind ..still listening !!!
Omg! Right I feel like the same way and stuff
This a great F'N song
Losing your mind good luck with that buddy
@@slickone777 ,fy......pigraw pays back.....

*Can't believe this song just turned 20 this year.*
Such great memories.
Fucking epic song
Wayne never died he just went back to the future
Are you kidding?
Wayne was only in his 20s hes beard was 40 lol
This is great music n sound 🇮🇩🙏
The first song I heard from Static-X back in high school and it's still my favourite one. I'll always love this band
Same. It was "hey, you like SpineShank, well you'll love this!" and I do.
2024. Anyone?
Yesssssssiiirrr
Here...!!!
Yus! ❤️🔥
Present
Yesss mate
Possibly my favorite static x song. RIP Wayne there will never be another like you.
What mr solo said
Def my fav
I think Xero is doing a pretty good tribute to Wayne.
It was killer in 2001& killer in 2023💯🤘🤘🤘🤘
Obviously Wayne Static is a T800. He did not die, he just went home to the future.
Best fuckin comment!
\m/
I'm still in denial about the man's death so this is 100% FACTUAL and nobody can convince me otherwise.
+TheSkully343 I know
lol i forgot he was a cyborg!
2023 anyone? I just seen them at the Fillmore on the 17th and they were lit. Thxs for getting back together, and Wayne is smiling down upon all of us. 🫡
Songs like this were on TV in 2001…impossible to think that now
Also was featured in mtv gauntlet 1 the mask challenge.
Man .. I hate how the world lost Wayne just a few months ago..
It's crazy how much i like the Static-X songs and also his solo stuff.
He was such a unique artist. Not just because of his hairstyle which might be the most obvious thing to know it's him, but his whole style in music.
So sad to know this amazing man is no longer alive ... He could have brought so much more amazing music to this world.
I'm also sad about the fact that i have listened to his music a whole bunch of years ago but then stopped and got into different music and only listening to his music on rare occasions. Just to hear in november that he passed away, making me look up the music again and having so much more feel for the music.
May his soul rest in peace now...
+EdZ3rD I got the same feelings with you man Im sad too.Your comment is now 1 year pass plss reply for memories..plsss.. snif.......snif........
+EdZ3rD amen rest in peace wayne
EdZ3rD how did he pass...what you wrote was beautiful dude...long live static X
Party On Wayne
Wow
2023 and still on the of the bests
Wayne will always have possibly the greatest beard in music.
Darkshark Lp f f
thafuQ?!
You've obviously never seen ZZ Top.
Also that bassist from System of a Down.
him, the dude from amon amarth and the mighty paul speckman from master!
Randomherodrew zztop. That is all
It’s the year 2023 and this video is one favorite intros.
when a music video is a better sequel to the terminator series than dark fate
Except for Tripp on guitar. His little dance movements he does are so corny to me ha
@@illustrate303What does corny means ?
Yeah, should be part of the soundtrack
love how Tripp's robotic moves suit the Terminator concept of the video
This song still goes so hard.
After 9 years, I still don’t understand why this song doesn’t have the most views. This is hands down my fave band and song ever. RIP Static Wayne.
if you're listening to Static X in 2022 you're probably old enough tp remember when MTV played music videos 🔥
One of the best songs I have ever heard in my life ❤ Forever Static-X, forever Wayne!
"It's ours for the taking" I have heard that saying many times, but Wayne Static delivers it with such statement making impact, you would swear you only heard it in this song for the 1st time.
Damn I love that dissonant main riff sooo much. And Wayne Static's vocals are at their absolute peak here, when he goes "it's BLACK AND WHITE!" has always been so satisfying to me. Sick video on top of everything too. Miss him so much, these guys were a huge part of my younger years
Man You have reason the sound the riff is amazing
When say Black and White is pure energy
The lyrics of this song are etched into my memory.
Even now, loosing this one still stings... gutted I never went to see them!
We miss you Wayne
I remember seeing this on MTV at my friends house right after it came and that was it for me, I was sold on Static-X.
R.I.P. Wayne Static- too damn soon. I interviewed him many times in my WBCN-Boston radio days- such a nice guy…. very sad to hear this…..
It was his choice, drugs are a bitch
@@machine2477 he actually didn’t die from drugs. It was a combination of his prescription meds with alcohol.
R.I.P. Wayne Static. He was an amazingly positive guy and had astounding energy at his shows, and one of the most unique voices in metal. Thanks for rocking my ears off two years ago. EVIL DISCO FOREVER!
When Slipknot, Korn and SOAD were the most popular metal bands in the early 2000's, Static-X was my personal #1 favorite band, I admired both their looks and music.
I could only recommend younger generations who like industrial / metal to put Static-X on their playlists.
what bout that there Factory of Fear, my friend?
Was definitely one of my favorite bands to listen to. But nothingface was my shit
Ministry, Frontline Assembly, KMFDM, Skinny Puppy...
RolandAshcroft yo bro I agree and it's a god damn shame he's dead
From Zero, Scars of Life, NME.MINE are hidden gems worth checking out.
WHAT an unforgettably beautiful noise, and the way that vocal sits in the mix!
Wishing everyone a wildly creative 2022.
Rest easy Mr Static 🏆
Saw them 7 times here in San antonio man he sounds exactly the same live as he does here dude was cool asf band was amazing sucks he passed RIP 😪
Rest In Peace Wayne, I had the pleasure of seeing the band live & eternal thanks for your unique voice in music. My condolencies to the rest of the band X
Loved this when it came out. Still love it now. What an amazing piece of music!
I was young when I heard this song. Used to listen to it every time I went to the library and logged on to the computer.
Nice.
RIP Wayne
You made my teen years a lot more bearable by reminding me I wasn't alone in my pain, isolation, and struggle. I'm sorry it swallowed you in the end. As a similarly lost soul, I'll try to carry on for both of us, but I'll join you before too long either way, brother
This is one of my favorite songs. Wayne, thanks for the gift of your voice and talent, may you be well and happy wherever you are.
this is my favorite static-x music video by far 🤘🏻
Great memories... the world will never be the same
I’m so glad I got to meet him before he died. I made it to one show in Atlanta back in 2005. I almost got signatures of the whole band. Only lacked the drummer’s b/c we couldn’t find him after the show. Wayne was just hanging out with everyone around back & my hubby & I ran into him. He shot the shit with us for a little while. Really cool guy! He didn’t act annoyed or in a hurry. RIP
***** was one of the first bands that opened my heart & mind to the world of metal. Sad news today. Farewell Wayne Static. RIP.
Same as me, bro! It was Static-X that got me into metal. Wayne legend lives! RIP
+Myles Dyer
Propably trough Need for Speed Underground?
Also my first band where I listened to
And the first band that opened my heart to the metal
metal is love. metal is life. welcome to reality
Same Push It was one of the first metal videos i remember seeing when i was 5 on mtv.
One of my all time favorite songs, EVER!
Yourself collide yourself collide
Still one of the best videos!
Rest in piece Wayne. This song is a fucking masterpiece! And that bassline is killer! Fly high evil disco lord.
This was the first song i ever heard by Static-X… instant fan. RIP Wayne Static,
Same here, brother. RIP Wayne.
Drunk Sloppy Destroyer was my first
RIP Wayne...
Such very sad news of another life cut short
I feel like this band really enjoyed shooting their music videos.
one of the best industrial rock bands ever
Still loving this song on 2021
I've seen them live and it was an awesome show. Wayne will be missed. Static-X is what brought me to metal. Thanks for the memories Wayne!
Bought the album after I heard this song, still a banger to this day. RIP Wayne!
0:34 when Tripp lands is the best part.
Crazy... This was the first song I had ever heard from them and what got me into them. I sadly never had my chance to see him live and now I never will. I can imagine he was an awesome, chill dude and had awesome live shows. May he RIP :'(
They were amazing live and the energy was just awesome man.
I been a fan since 1999 And I never got to see them live either I guess life just gets in the way sometimes...
I remembered this coming on "Extreme Rock", on MTV2 back then at 1am. I thought this video was, for some reason, the coolest video that I'd ever seen. Now I know why, this looks like it was made last year...
RIP Wayne.
Ryan McFarlane Really sad news
Sucks!
My brother recorded a bunch of metal videos in vhs while he was in the states and push it was one of them and machine was the first album I ever purchased with my own money... so great.
Will never be bored of Static X
Latecomer to Static X I’m loving their songs wish I knew about them sooner when I was into Nu Metal since 1999. It’s funny how I missed these guys Wayne was such a cool frontman imo but their new frontman Xero is helping to relive Wayne’s legacy of Static X.
Wayne was the reason I have a beard, the reason I liked metal in the first place. I'm with stupid. I used to do my best to replicate his hair. What a god damn chore. RIP STATIC, you influenced me greatly.
FUUUUUUUCK! I want to go back to when this first came out! Miss those days damn it!
Wayne Static and Tripp Eisen, two of my favorite guitarists, great song!
At least up until Tripp went and fucked up, right?
Meh, just because he fucked up doesn't change the fact that I like his sound and style of playing
Yup, those paedophiles sure can shred, huh?
Voltando aqui pra ouvir essa delícia static X ever R.I.P wayne
Such a fantastic song. Rest In Peace, Wayne Static.
Legend Wayne Static Rest In Peace Bro.
Fuck todays music period, bring me back to the early 2000s , this is what Im talking about
Static x is a underrated band.. R.I.P WAYNE STATIC
I'll never forget you Wayne, thank you for everything
r.i.p. wayne. thank you! your spirit is eternal, and so is your music
2:24-2:35 is my favorite part personally. Just feels deep. Good times back in the day when this came out \m/
Still jamming this lol, god it sounds even better today

Damn, all my life I been listening to rap and hip hop.I just recently started to listen to Static X And Korn and man was I missing out.
Good memories of a happier time...R.I.P. Mr Static you will obviously be missed.
One of a few music videos that not only compliments the song, but also defines it in a way.
Great yet simple music video.
The first song I've heard of the Static, was in 2010. Nostalgia. My head was exploded in that day lmao.
Never got too into this band yet I did really like this song. RIP Wayne
He looks so full of life in his videos, you would never think he's dead.
+Ashton Foley it was recorded before he died
+Matt Thomas NO SHIT!!!!!......... They walk among us people.................
+Matt Thomas I like you
+Matt Thomas that made me laugh
Wayne Static doesn't die.
Rumor has it if he's stuck with a lightning bolt he will channel the electricity through his hair and return to life.
His soul now resides in his great music he left behind for the world :)
Just saw static x at the gathering of the juggalos on Saturday August 17 2024 wow what a performance r.i.p Wayne static
Cant believe he was in his late 40's. Wow. He'll always be 20 something to me. The dude is a vampire
I'm 37 and someone thought I was24 a few days ago lol.
@@jxrx3793 when someone calls me 'young man'... Erg! How damned old do you think I am?! :)
I will never ever forget this band or this song. This very song got me into metal.
Despite having to stomach the sight of Tripp Eisen's scumbag face, this is my favorite Static X song and video. Fuckin love it.
I'm glad that my last memory of him was back in 2005 right before I left from New York to Florida I got to see my final concert in New York and if fortunately it was Static X.
I fucking love this song. One of my favorite songs for the next 28 years.
First Static-X song I heard. Somehow sounds even better now than it did then. RIP Wayne. Far too young.
I love static x Wayne was such a great frontman/guitarist
2:54 the head shake. Such a good song. Such a good band. Wayne is missed. Glad they’re keeping the music going. I have so many good memories with this band. All the way from ps1 (Omega Boost) to seeing them in concert. Let the memories live on.
RIP Wayne Static 1966-2014
1965 man
Oh well I was Close Enough with 66
so true and sad
James Mcilroy 1965
The music video that first introduced me to static x back in the day 2001 I believe. Still one of my favorite songs/videos 20+ years later.
2019 still awesome!
This song is so simple yet so powerful. RIP Wayne.
r.i.p wayne static, my favorite static-x song.
It's nice to know that people still listen to this :)
man nostalgia trip right here! I remember when this first came out back when I was in school, sounded completely different to the stuff that was 'mainstream' back then, and even though I thought the machine album had several weak songs, this song was enough to convert me to a SX fan. Pretty much every album that has followed this has been sublime in my very personal opinion
Just started re-listening to their stuff 10 years on, now wondering why I ever stopped listening! Such a shame to know this band isn't around any more :( nothing stays the same forever I suppose
Couldn't agree with you more! Machine was one of my favorite albums because of "black and white". I was in 9th grade when this came out I think. I remember picking up my friend after school in my 1992 red Pontiac Bonneville sitting in front of the school blasting this shit with all the windows down. Girls prolly thought I was weird as shit but I didn't care! Ah good times!
Justin Fuqua na late 2001. I remember watching this video on new years eve around the time it first came out
I will never get tired of listening to this song. Just awesome! 👍
Man I was 3 or 4 when I heard this song and I'm 17 now I still love this band and especially this song my number 1 favourite song of all time from static x 🔥🔥🔥
Keep hearing how much of an amazing person he was, is and ever will be. Such sand news, RIP Wayne. :(
their bassist is killing it!
