You can't even imagine the vibe in the room that night. So much hype surpassed and beyond. Everyone wanted them to be "dangerous" and edgy. They were fierce and in control. They had a moment for sure. A staggeringly honest and important record to tour behind. They really don't make them like this anymore. Thanks for putting this up.
Still don’t know how they paid for dope and lived the bohemian life. One thing I learned as a recovering addict is drug habits aren’t cheap. Even if you’re working a white collar job you’re doing to run out of money in a year or two.
Just a bit. All in all it was quite a show in a very small super packed venue in Long Beach, CA. I got bumped around quite a bit trying to video this LOL but it was fun!
@@wintermoonomen I was at their San Diego show, I don't remember the name of the venue but it had to have been within a day or two of this one. I don't remember any stage diving or crazed security at the SD show. Found the band "backstage" after the show and said hi.
the fantastic band.
My dad was the guy on the right side sitting at the front working security and keeping people off the stage. Was an electric show for sure he recalls.
One of those gigs i wish i was at....

@@johnhoneck2973 I had seen the Nymphs several times before but that night in L.B. the energy felt different, more anxious and intense.
yeah because a song about a friends suicide is really superficial.
