I’d say definitely has helped me! Played 9 holes walking last week and vlogged the whole thing. And did very well. Can’t wait to go back. I think there’s something to taking a break.
I live in Columbus, Ohio and I agree solo carts speeds up play. Here the courses have the cups raised 1 inch which i don't like. The foot thing on the flags is awesome.
Just feels so good to have golf back! We will put up with whatever the courses rules are but yes the “foot thing” is awesome. You can use the end of your putter too. Some courses are allowing you to bring your own cart which could really speed up play! Thanks for your feedback!
breaks in golf are good. you come back after a long time and don't expect to play well so you don't overthink your swing, just let the hands go. many people overthink every aspect of golf, that's why golf lessons often mess your game up.

Here in Ohio it’s going to be 39 degrees at start time. Been out all thru this. Logged a lot of miles during this. Walked every round since this started. Easier to keep distance and not worry about a cart that someone else used. Keep safe fellas. Glad to see your back out on the course

Played today for first time in almost FOUR months. Needless to say... it was not good for my game. Hit a few shanks with my wedges.. almost never do that. :-/ Loved this course though.. those mountains!
@@Golfholics Taylormade M2 Irons and fairway woods - had a nice run-out special on, and a SIM driver. Also 20% off on everything, due to the economy turning into a wasteland. New Zealand has been on full lockdown, where only supermarkets and chemists were open, for 4 weeks - last two weeks more places have been open, including golf courses - but you can only with people from your home, which is none of the people I play with.
I think so. I didn't play for 7-8 months, came out and shot a pretty sloppy 81, with 3 3 putts, 2 of those on the first three holes...4-6 extra shots for no reason on just those couple holes.
@@Golfholics unfortunately no. Maybe took a few swings in the garage a couple times, but I have been dealing with some lower back issues for the last couple years
@@Golfholics don't get me wrong, still stoked at the round overall. Played with guys who are playing weekly and was out driving them and hitting most fairways.
What do you think the green speed was? The one time I played there they were pretty quick, which is why the people I played with putted off the green on 12 from the back of the green.
Not trying to throw shade but the efforts of the golf course is to operate with social distancing to avoid spread Lol. filming side by side defeats the purpose and if any one of you were asymptomatic...now you're carriers and spreading 🤷♂️. Still subscribed but USA is not handling this well. The number of cases is really sad.
We are family and have been quarantining together through the shelter in place order. Herd immunity. Watch out for those hornets I’ve been hearing about. 😉
