7/25/2024: WOW. there is a ton of TommyB HATE here! So first, I do not delete comments. However, just recently when I checked for comments 'Held for Review' I noticed a large number of vulgar and shall I say "unprofessional" comments on this video. Lots of hate for TommyBuilt (basically no substance and just saying F U so not gonna approve any of these stupid comments). Also a lot of people are asking me to do another video on this firearm (re: reliability). As such, I will do a "Re-Visited" video on this cool rifle before the year is over. Stay tuned!

I have a TG36E, full German parts, great rifle. Did my own review over on a channel I run with a close friend of mine. Stupid accurate! I've run mine through a shooting competition, no failures. It's my go to rifle and also my range queen. Mine is showing the signs of use, but I have like 5,000 rounds through it (pre ammo scare). I shoot it everytime I go out! It's one of the best rifles I've ever owned. At it's price I expect it to work and to be a "go to" rifle. And for those wondering, yes it will shoot steel case (if you still have some) without an issue.
Hey may I ask you a question I have a POF p415 currently and a POF p308. Someone was going to trade me for my p-308 and all my 762 NATO ammunition for one of these rifles in your honest opinion with his Barrel the Tom Bostick Barrel that is , can you really use this weapon to really go to ground how would it compare to a POF will it run neck and neck and keep me alive in a bad situation what's your opinion? Because I would have run this weapon and a ump clone. Along with HK pistols and a Walther P99
It's fantastic! The FDE does make it look unique. I've always thought the Pugnose was the celebrity in your collection, but this one probably makes the Pugnose a little jealous...

Hey man I was watching some of your videos from 3 or 4 years ago about you carrying the 1911 and was just really curious how that worked out or if you’re still carrying it and what you thought about it after a few years because all I have is a 1911 and I can carry it just fine but was thinking of getting something more modern because everyone says that’s kinda the thing to do

Vertical grip on a pistol? has the ATF come nocking yet?
Hey quick question, if I order a sentinel xl chambered in 45 acp can I send it to you for review purposes? It has a smaller grip than a compact but a 4 inch barrel, with a capacity of 6+1.
How much this beauty cost you
I heard you say 13" barrel. I don't have a G36 because I'm a poor so not trying to be a know-it-all or a pedant but the stats say 318 mm which is right about 12.5". So are they actually 13 or did you just round it up? Or maybe Tommy cuts them a tad longer?

I shoot mine often and have let others shoot it when I take it to the range. Everyone loves it! Mine is the full sized E, with all German parts (minus the receiver of course).
I also have the "FBI" style lower, which is marked just for safe, and Semi. I don't need the other markings to look the part.
Also recommend the aluminum railed carry handle, mine is Tommy built.
i just bought a TG36KER as i see they have it available. The gun seems to have feeding issues with .223 ammo and should only use 5.56 NATO. Have you had issues with any specific brand and which type of 5.56 worked best? Thanks
sorry for the late response... honestly the ammo I have is Federal and Winchester. All 5.56. I don't have any .223. So I've used 62gr Winchester Green Tip with success. I don't really use the 55gr through this one...
GSG9 is a special police unit, they used g36s for a while that’s why that’s on there. They don’t make guns.
A vertical foregrip on a pistol constitutes a NFA item buddy just FYI unless you payed your $200 tax stamp you are in possession of a unregistered AOW

Can't believe anyone would buy anything from Tommy after he screwed over his customers! Tommy is a coward!
For doing what he had to do to stay in business? When you run the numbers and all his overhead costs and the fact he wasnt making any income for almost 8 months during the whole debacle I doubt he was making much money from having to charge his customers for "fixing" their guns if at all.

@@crowsbridge Tommy was to much of a bitch to stand for what was right! Thats why ill never buy anything from him. If you feel like you can support someone who doesn't support his customers thats up to you.

@@Frank-Biddle in a nutshell, Tommybuilt tactical created the T36 which was originally approved by the ATF for manufacture. After about a year some importer tried to illegally import the HK 243 from Europe, and after they got caught the importer threw Tom Bostic under the bus saying that it's not fair that they are in trouble for importing a gun that is essentially the same as the T36. That made the ATF visit Tom and take one of his guns for inspection in which they changed their minds and deemed these receivers as a machine guns despite already approving them. Because of the financial situation caused by legal fees and other factors Tom had to choose between charging his customers to have their guns fixed with a new improved and compliant receiver ($225 if your gun is a pistol or $25 if your gun has been SBRd to cover your tax stamp) or declare bankruptcy and close up shop which would have the ATF go door to door and confiscate all his customer's guns. Some people are mad that hes not fixing them for free, mostly people who couldnt afford them to begin with.
