I have the same Garden tool and it is awesome. I actually used that tool and repaired my front lawn. I put down Scotts EZ Seeds, Scotts Sun, and Shade Seeds, along with some topsoil. My lawn had hardly any grass it was mostly clay soil which in Omaha, Nebraska is what we have. I will say after one year my lawn is thick and thriving for this year 2024.
Looks good! I overseeded my backyard last autumn in November. I put down starter fertilizer and kept my two big dogs off of it for six months. It's a bit extreme I know , but I also know my dogs play hard on the grass. I am happy to report that the grass is thick, strong, and green. I feel like I may have finally cracked the code on how to grow healthy grass. I watch all your podcasts and credit your help for my success. Thank you! 😊
I live up north so just addressed/seeded a small bare area that was wiped out from winter plowing. The garden weasel is absolutely a great tool for this. Hopefully mine fills in as nicely as yours did.
Some jr high kids came to my neighborhood strapped with the right tools! They asked to cut my grass, but I turned them down but paid them anyway. One of the guys DIDN'T hear the instructions, so he proceeded to cut my BEAUTIFUL GREEN GRASS on the low setting. He cut a bear spot in my grass. I had to break out the garden weasel. The grass just started germinating again.
Looks good. See if Johnathan Green has a product that might do well along the fence. They have a variety of seeds for different locations. Anyway I love the garden weezel. Press on in the good work sir 💪💪
Small patch like that I'll hit the tall stuff with my trimmer so it doesn't get out of control while I'm not mowing. Lookin good! Temps here on Long Island have been whacky.... Glad it's thickening up for you!
Thank you for your informative content . Out of five stars please tell me your rating of the Sta Green natural fertilizer you "reviewed " last year . Thanks again .
I give it a 4 out of 5. It provided a great dose of nitrogen and micronutrients to the lawn and soil. The only thing you won't get is that deep green because it doesn't have iron but overall it's a good fertilizer
@LawnAmateur. Like your vids my dude, but if same area thins out & have to seed every year, need to find out why. After winter, I dethatched my backyard, looked thin, but I just fertilized & now it's back to normal.
I totally agree. I went into one of the big box stores, looking for the weasel and they didn’t know what I was talking about. Left my phone in the car went and looked it up and it was called a cultivator, corona SMH.
After applying weed stop to my front and back lawn (which had lots of weeds), there are now several spots all over the yard where the weeds died. Would you recommend using the garden weasel for reseeding over larger areas like this?
You do a phenomenal job explaining lawn care without being over the top & confusing like a lot of other channels.
Thank you I try to be as simple and clear as possible

Thank you, I understand what you mean about the dogs playing hard on the grass mine love to dig 🤣🤦🏾♂️

I live in the north also so I definitely understand. The garden weasel does a great job for jobs like this. Thank you for your support
Your former thin spots look great! Thanks for the video update. 👍👍
Thank you
I got mine and uses it almost errday. Great information from podcast videos.
Thank you 👌🏾
Short and sweet good to see that side is progressing and that’s New England for you we don’t see consistent temps til June 😂
Just a quick update video to let everyone see how things turned out
The Garden Weasel is clutch. I use mine all the time when re-Seeding small areas. And starter fert, and then Peat Moss, is my go to routine as well!!!
Sound good 👌🏾

Sounds like me when I was younger going around cutting grass and shoveling snow 🤣. I love the garden weasel
@@LawnAmateur Yeah these kids need money, so I paid them just for asking. They thanked me for it. But I still had to pull out the weasel.🤣😂😅✌
You convinced me to buy the garden weasel
It's a great tool to have

This tool worked great for me. I will be using this every time in the future. Thanks!!!
No problem 👌🏾

It's finally coming in 👌🏾
Thank you for sharing your experience!
Thank you for watching 👌🏾
@@LawnAmateur I love your lawn tips! So much so I went out and bought one of those garden weasels!
I use grass shears to cut the new grass on small bare patches.
My grandfather used to spread coffee grounds on bare spots.
Can you tell us what the results were after putting down coffee grounds to bare spots?
@@jayq6767 Well, the grass grew there. I don't know if it occurred naturally or because of the caffeine. But it always grew back in.
Looks great! 👍
Thank you 👌🏾

Looking real good! With the peat moss do you blend it in with the soil or just lay it on top?
Thank you. Just lay it on top
Thanks for showing this.
No problem thank you for your support 👌🏾
We moved into a new house and ripped out all the St Augustine and replaced it with Tiff Tuff. Best grass ever if you have pets

I'm troubleshooting that area 👌🏾
Maybe you might need seed for shade in that back...
The weasel really is excellent...
All my seed is a shade mixture

Garden cultivator is the legal name
@@LawnAmateur yea, it's a Garden Weasel Darryl 🙂
Looking good!!
Thank you 👌🏾

Yes the weasel will work fine in those areas
Hi can you link this tool or where you bought it from I can’t find any that have an angle like this one. Thanks
Try tractor supply. See if it's available in your area www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/groundwork-garden-cultivator-1273578
@@LawnAmateur thanks
Dee put some hash tags in your description to increase viewer searchers....
love my weasel
Me too 👌🏾
I did not have much luck with this tool - the wheels kept coming loose. Ended up throwing it away.
That's interesting
Why the fencing has mismatched boards? Can't paint?
It's been repaired now just waiting to be painted.
