2 Natural air dry flowers

@@BuzzingFishHi. I use silica gel and remove it after 3 days (My roses actually are completely dry). However, after several days, I think my flowers absorb moisture again so that they are not dry anymore and wither (even though i keep it in a container). What do u think? Thank you ☺

If I want to make an ornament with epoxy resin and a fresh fruit ínstead of a flower do i have to do something special to préserve it before puting it inside the resin, or will the resin and the hardener protect it from getting rotten? Thank you! Hope you understand my question 😅

You would need a LOT more silica gel if you use vase

this kind of silica sand can be found in cat litter fillings
any supermarket or pet shop should have a version of it, look for fine grained or super fine grained

guardar deve aumentar o tempo, mas continua limitado por continuar absorvendo umidade até saturar

bonjour, à mon avis, il vaut mieux faire sécher sinon j'imagine que la fleur risque de pourrir dans la résine à cause de l'humidité. J'imagine qu'il faut faire sécher sinon pourquoi perdre son temps à le faire ^^

edit : je viens de lire plus bas qu'il a dit que les fleurs fraîches font des bulles à cause de l'eau contenue dans la fleur. Voilà voilà ^^
Oui il est obligatoire et conseillé de faire sécher les roses ou fleurs naturelles sinon une mauvaise réaction chimique se produit la fleur change drastiquement de couleur et pourrie par la suite,tout le travail fini à la poubelle.j'en ais fait les frais

Just started my journey with silica gel and resin trying to preserve my rare cactus blooms. I’ve done 3 pours of resin. On my first pour my bloom wasn’t dry enough in silica gel, they turned brown and I was stupid to fill all three molds that were together. Why?! I’m not sure. I failed all 3 plus the mold was too small my bloom couldn’t spread out 😭 Second pour my bloom was perfectly dried in silica gel in a bigger mold but I had the whole piece with micro bubbles. So another fail! 🤯 I put my resin in a warm water bath before pouring and mixing my resin with a head gun to it, pour it slow and let it cure outside where it’s warmer. I’m about to pop over my 3rd try using resin tomorrow morning. Wish I stayed with common blooms before goin straight in with my rare blooms. I have learned so much in just 2 pours. I can’t get mad, I’m learning with each pour. Also I’m learning how to lay the blooms in silica gel with the dimension of a big complex bloom it’s not easy. Love your content!
