Well just could not hold my thoughts here so I am ready for a possible full on verbal attack. The following topic at 7:00 reminded me of residential construction with whole McMansion thing. This has got me thinking residents are sold on large is better, but little do they know the construction "might not" be of the best quality. And the ornamentation on the houses from what I hear is some type of foam. I think residents are tricked into sacrificing quality and functionality for feeling like a celebrity. Like for instance a pile of columns in a walkway and an area where you have to take a step up or down at the entryway all for the sake of looking luxurious. Thats not good for smooth foot traffic. The residential customer wants the live like a celebrity feeling so bad they are willing sacrifice quality of building material. 10:07 before taking it to court best to see if they will tell you why 3 stories are not permissible. If they tell the why so of the whole thing, is it even worth a court case. Also consider if a story could be takin below as a basement office space. The office dungeon! 🤣

Yes all of those issues have validity. But this vid is just a "Quick thumbnail of the process"... as it says. Most viewers won't sit through a video over 25 minutes. (probably 18 min?) we are just isolating topics one at a time. So obviously many people are just not ready to hire a design professional yet and the discussion here is to get them thinking GENERALLY about the general direction that they are going. If I were to do an "Everything you need to know" video it would probably be 10 years long... = 4 or 5 year bachelors degree, 2 year masters, 3 years internship, 1 to 2 years of practice experience as an architect. Yes there is just a bit more to it!! Ha Ha.
