KA injectors come out easy af, a little wd40 around the injector housing and push down with a large flat head between the thick plastic on plug and the cup housing, should lift right out maybe a little wiggling necessary. Extremely useful on 300zx vg to replace injectors without pulling the whole rail.
I have a 96 s14 ka tryna turbo it, mite just follow your guide g appreciate it 👌🏽 .. Also if i heard correctly, you dont need forged internals correct? What if i wanted to get forged internals? Does that also add to reliability/hp?
I have mine connected to an oil sandwich plate. You can either do that, or take off your Oil pressure Sensro and get a T. Put the sensor on one opening & the feed on another the other.
It depends really. KA’s are more readily available over here in the US. Personally, I like the individual characteristics of each engine. I actually have a CA18DET that I plan on rebuilding, I have no idea what I want to put it in though.
Hey I got a random question but at 10:58 I saw you used some kind of gasket maker on your fuel sending unit, ive tried to stop mine from leaking like 10 times, ive used aftermarket gaskets and even just blew $300 on a new aftermarket sending unit, i think my best bet now is to use some kind of gasket maker, what do you recommend?
Bro can you please remove the subtitles. If the person who watches your video want subtitles TH-cam offers that. I would appreciate it thank you. Good job on the build kid
It was my plan to only use subtitles in tutorials style videos like this one. However; with Melvins comment, it makes me want to do them more so I can also be considerate of the hearing impaired. Thoughts?
this video is amazing. super clear and strait forward. love the content!!
That’s awesome to hear. Trying to put together more informational videos to help others!
love your attitude towards this production. Keep making clearly explained and documented videos like this. 👍
Thank you 🙏
Facebook worked. Happy I found the content.
I stumbled across this video as the algo knows I'm prepping a '77 620 for a KA-T swap..... you did a great job here!
This was an awesome little tutorial man!! Keep up the good work!!
Thank you so much! I’m glad to be getting in the groove of things again
Bought a 240 coupe off of my neighbor last year. This video inspires me to get it running & possibly KA-T in the future.

I’m building a KA 24DE in a frontier. I’m excited it’s gonna be my sleeper delivery truck.
I did a KA24DE build for my D21! I absolutely love it

can you do a video on the battery relocate please, i like how you explain things instead of these other youtubers 😂
Sure! I’ll make a video soon. I just put it back on the road!
NEW SUB💪 AWESOME CONTENT BROTHA KEEP PUSHIN🤜🤛🔥🔥💯
So the turbo oil drain goes from the turbo to the pan, but where does the oil feed line come from, or I guess where am I supposed to connect it to?

I miss working on S-chassis cars.
Where is part 2?
Part 2??
what manifold are you runnning?
Rev9 MF-042
Would you rather build a ka24det or ca18det?

Sorry if I missed it in the video, but how much horsepower does this setup at 5lbs produce?
Usually 10hp per lbs of boost
Wanna sell them injectors and ecu ? When you go stand-alone ?
i be thinking to boost my 240 but I drive 100 miles every what do you recommend to do in this case?
If you do it correctly and a have a good tuner set it up, I don’t see why not!
What part of NY are you from? Buffalo area by chance?
Yeah, Lockport!
What brand manifold is that?
Revhard. It’s super old

I used RTV!
If you have a new gas tank seal (the rubber o ring) I’d recommend putting that in, putting RTV over it, then putting in your sending unit.

Honestly, I prefer the subtitles on so that it's easier to note what goes where.
Hearing impaired guy showing up to let you know 99% of the time the optional subtitles are garbage regarding timing and accuracy

Take my s14 and turbo it, idk how it worked 🥲
