@@CrookedHooksFishing the reason why it came off the pike came off because you had a heavy rod and fast action tip not even a medium heavy rod with a moderate fast action tip where it still has forgiveness so no matter how much they come out the water and fight they don't spit The lure out
@silentnight2292 Good to know! I run the heavy more often than not because I found the medium heavy was getting a little torn up... went through 3 last season after huge strikes... Id rather lose the fish than the $150+ rod! lol
Honestly, you would think it would be a Scorpion or a Metanium, but my dream DC reel would actually be a nice Curado DC in a 7.2:1 ratio. It's a reel that can do anything and be run on any setup, and that's what I look for. I want my reels to be multi purpose so I can get the "bang for the buck". Unless you're specifically targeting specific methods of fishing, I don't find these $800 reels necessary. It's all about using your budget wisely to get gear that will work for a variety of applications! Cheers for the question!

@@CrookedHooksFishingsome guessing you wouldn't be a big fan of fishing tournaments with people catching bass up to 15 lb
@silentnight2292 I'd love to know where they are catching 15lb bass in south Eastern Ontario because I'll be the first one there Lol
Hey I've seen them fish before lol
lol!!!
I saw your baitcaster real review. If you had the funds what DC real would you pick up?
