Mimsy has his purpose. I love having my new kid surrounded by characters, dropping a mimsy right in the middle, and watching as their entire army marches back towards their new kid. Then I drop a bunch of 3's and 2's, wipe out their army, and the tide has turned. I've won a few games with that strategy. But

Villaingamer 3402 is good for his deathwish and slight knockback, but it's right now in the shadow of the cartmans

I think BGA is better than Starvin Marvin personally, BGA is ranged and can hit from pretty far, and has a good health pool, so he can chunk down the enemy's health from the midline, while the enemy has to decide between burning some units to take him out or eat some nice damage.
Starvin Marvin doesn't really have much health, and it only takes one ranged unit really to check him.
I think mimsy could be good if the other opponet summoms a card to encounter mismy than you can summon Drawf king clyde to attack their card than you will have two cards on the enemy side than clyde can attack any other card that pops up while mimsy is taking some good damage at the enemy leader I think this idea is good for low ranks in pvp
Just found this video. Sorry for coming in late to the party. I totally agree with Mimsy. I have seen one use for him though. Paired with swashbuckling red he has use. She pulls the assassins away. You do use a total of 9 to play both cards though so I'm still not sure it's worth it.
Now what we have to worry about is Dougie.
You obviously have never used mimsy with hyperspeed and warboy tweak

he's good with astro butters as he can tank while butters deals damage and thats a win or if butters dies he gets good damage into the enemy kid, also if they are both alive attacking he can survive the bar down damage and get the butters buff, works with deckhand as well
also his hp and damage seem to scale pretty well with levels compared to some
Mimsy with hyperspeed is good but..dude, thats 10 energy bars you are spending. A bit risky dont you think?

I know this video is two years or more old but I don't level Mimsy but I did just use him in chaos mode where he costs 4 instead of 5 and not only did I win three matches (personal best I am still new 2000ish rating) but using him to pull enemies away from Gunslinger or other value cards so their ability can go off was definitely useful all three games. Is this video still accurate, is he only good for low levels or was it because of chaos mode that made him worth playing (I know chaos mode was not around 2 years ago)
please anyone with an opinion I would really like replies.
Edit: lol "if your intelligent enough" -drew sounds just like me in politics. But I am not trying to say he is right or wrong I would just like to know if most still feel this way or not.
I'm a level 17, and people use Mimsy all the time. Many times leveled up to a 6 or 7. He can take a bar if played first sometimes.

The only wrong way to play mimsy is to tank new kid. Except that mimsy costs 1 more energy than a dougie but he deals half the bar even when focused. What else could you ask from a headhunter? I'm adding video link to favorites so I can upload a video with kyle/hyperdrive synergy with mimsy. I hope I can convince you then(at least that he's viable). He benefits the same stuff marvin does. I have lvl 3 mimsy and if I send him out followed by max lvl 3 rats and a min lvl 4 smuggler Ike the assassins kill all attackers of mimsy and mimsy usually breaks 2 phones
I’m lvl 11 and can beat lvl 11-14 players in pvp just saying, he’s just not good for your strategy, I upgrade what I can and adjust my play to whatever random cards I get
So ill start with saying that I love your youtube channel. Ive been playing phone destroyer for about 4 months and ive only spent $10 in that time. In level 15 PvP, ive been fluctuating between 2800 and 3300 PvP score, I have most of the cards available to me despite not having a lot of legendary cards...so...after that being said..I use my mimsy card like most would use an assassin. I believe my mimsy is level 3? He attacks at 56hp and has about 1400 health. I kill with this card. If I send mimsy and lets say..bandita sally and Hermes Kenny? I'm taking 2 bars quickly with 10 energy. It works 95% of the time. Specially if I incorporate dog poo, I call it my Murder Deck or my tenorman chili deck
I used to have Mimsy in my deck but the only tank I'd prefer to use is Cartman tbh. Whenever I go against someone who uses Mimsy I usually know how to deal with it.

I use Mimsy at rank 40 and up. I combine him with astronaut Butters and gunslinger Kyle in a troll deck and it works most of the time.
Uh you know when you place him down it baits some of their units so then when there distracted you can kill them
Sean Kozlowski he will rush to the leader and opponents can build up a huge push and 5 energy is gone like that since opponent will eat mimsy up with all of their cards and u will only have 5 energy to defend while they have 10 energy worth of troops coming to u
Zen Cartman is 3 energy but has more health and does a better job at distracting
Awesomo although it’s 5 energy it has a very annoying charge which is to freeze and is a great tank too
The freeze is crucial as with right support units the freeze will kill all the opponent’s unit without your units dying
Why isn't he played in high rank? Seems to me if played strategically like a barrel doggie he could be hard to deal with. I'm rank 38 atm and he seems alright to me, am I missing something?
I've seen a level 6 mimsy in legendary, he almost won the game for the opponent.

Im a 32 level player and I once got screwed by a fully leveled Mimsy plus a fully levelled Gay Al at the very beginning of the match...though I must confess I dont have many assasin cards. I would say its not a good idea to send heavy cards at the bare beginning of the game, its a noob mistake. But a well played Mimsy can be a game changer at the right time (like, for example, at the heat of the battle).

i use tanks like mimsy and big gay al for building up the abilities of some of my characters like smuggler ike, program stan, some of my tanks abilities and when somebody drops one of those tanks i drop all of my assains and some of my fighters and then i just melt those tanks and because of that, i already have a lot of abilities and the idiot that dropped mimsy has practically no energy!

Mimsy does attack in PvE even when the leader is not out. I can't believe you never even used him before you said that. I like Mimsy he ain't the worst card in the game. MIMSY FOR THE WIN LEGENDARY HERE I COME HAHA
Mimsy works good for now I always win pvp cause he attacks the player atleast helped me though the early pvp!!
You probably have eaten these words now. At the high levels, Marvin is easily the worst headhunter, as he gets killed almost immediately in the legendary arenas. Dougie and Mimsy still get used a fair amount when paired with the right cards.
I'm looking for some advice on what other cards should just be forgotten about as far as upgrades go. I generally stay away from low health cards unless they are an assassin, other than kyle for the attack boost, are there any worth keeping around?
I could make a video on this with at least the cards I feel should be avoided

Mimsy is killer with heal and regen and ninja damage and zen as distraction killer combo

Bruno, you forgot about Pope Timmy. Sure he can be useful but the cost is horrid if you don't use him to summon MBP, Barbrady for god knows why or Grand Wizard Cartman, any 6 energy cost in general.
Phaset well, in higher ranks, like the Legendary, all this cards aren't useful, except for wizard cartman, and only ppl who know how to use it... All the other cards are so worst than mimsy... And who uses a level 5 mimsy, if well used (like with butters or regeneration) can say that's a good card
Agreed on you with that, at high levels he gets easily buff as heck, just like a nicely backed up BGA. Headhunters in general can get overwhelming at high ranks/levels equally.

If anything, the reason I dont like Mimsy, is that its a cheap win. Since he doesnt fight your other characters, then its just pointless.
Makes it less of a battle, and more of a petty fight. Less fun in other words.

KillerMarius1 I agree on GamingwithDrewzy. Manbearpig may be powerful on the outside, but very weak on the inside. He can still get defeated by Dog Poo with the help of freezing cards like Program Stan and A.W.E.S.O.M. O 4000 and to speed up the killing process; speeding cards like Astronaut Butters and Hyperspeed and poisoning cards like Alien Queen Red and Poison will increase the higher chance of destroying your precious Manbearpig alongside with attack buffers that will kill off your most “ferocious” opponent like Gunslinger Kyle and Smuggler Ike.
Run mbp and pope timmy right when mbp dies. Lol assholes quinch right back up.

If you have Gizmo Ike, you can counter Mimsy and you can get some charge up while they attack him, same goes with Big Gay Al.

Mimsy is annoying and is even more annoying because he's still being used but luckily he's slow and is pretty darn easy to counter also the tanks I use is dog poo because he's technically a tank at level 3 especially with robin tweek and I use Santa claus and grand wizard cartman also today I went up against a level 6 mimsy yes some crack head taught it was okay to level up their mimsy to level 6 needless to say I lost

To be honest, Starvin’ Marvin may be weaker than Mimsy, but at least he’s got a stronger attack and faster speed than Mimsy. He’s slow, he’s weak, and he’s super duper dumb.
Nathan Leviste I don't really like running headhunters apart from dougie. Everything else doesn't seem that strong. I think Big Gay AL is pretty great though. I won t play it because it's such a high cost, but it's still decent.
Dacota Sprague The only best Dougie out of all the Dougies is Barrell Dougie. That Dougie deals extra damage to the opposing leader at his first strike which is great for finishing off your opponent very easily if your opponent is in his/her last bar of health. The higher the risk the better, and hell, he’s even better than Mimsy because if that ability.
I use dwarven engineer in PvE. he owns bosses in 5 attacks.

Well you do play a tank then if you play mimsy cause he is a tank card with a headhunter perk. But glad you're doing well with him I just don't have trouble beating people that play him but obviously you learned how to play him right if your doing so well hope that continues for you.
Thanks mostly focused on control deck ..mimsy only ever played either right off the hop if I get him.. if not he's played if a match coming down to a clutch moment were I'm winning and get swarmed drop him right in front pulls all units back to opponents side...mimsy low level is not very good at level 5 it's 2-3 hits to take a bar

At high enough level he is effective at the time of that video 99% of players didn't have him very high level and he was just worthless but at lvl 5 and 6 he can be a headache for sure

im ranked 41 and mimsy is my main card, it´s a great counter against man bear pig and you can combo it with cyborg kenny, poison and dougie
