Ya I'm digging the way you layed out the practice. Knowing all the shapes and bunch of licks out of them and still just wanting to make it all blend and sound better.
Sure will be putting this to use.
    Many thanks.

I just ordered your 3-in-1 music theory book. Thanks for posting this. I think this lesson is the very sort of thing learning musicians need to do, but so often avoid because they would rather noodle around and try to play things that are more interesting but a bit too hard for them to play well. You have to do the work to get there I think.

Hi Matt. Yes I agree, just noodling around doesn't necessarily teach you anything! Hope you enjoy the book, it's got loads of amazing reviews on Amazon already so I'm sure you'll find it helpful. Catch up soon and thanks for watching and reading. Cheers!

Sounds good James, I still tinker around on the instrument a little bit. I have learned a lot from you in the past, and also your books, a very good thing to go to from time to time. Thanks

James, another brilliant lesson. The quater and eight notes are working well for me, but I need to do more work on the triplets notes. But all this has made a big difference. Thanks so much!!
