this is the first time i have logged back in to youtube in a long while and i wasnt expecting so many comments on 1 video. Glad most to all of you enjoyed it and to those that say 12012 are emo, you must learn that Emo is not a musical category in Japan they class as Visual Kei
Visual kei is a style of rock equivalent to punk, goth, etc. In the last few years visual kei has lost it's original intended purpose to greedy corporate thugs. However, there are still some non- commercialized indie bands in Japan that stay true to the intention of visual kei. Most bands these days either are from nagoya, or start a nagoya kei band with some friends from nagoya. The other in the pie chart usually go the dir en grey route...
Yeah I hate it. I can't find any good bands out there anymore. Most are either extremely heavy or just too happy. Not in between like the bands of before.
Kyo is the highly versatile vocalist of the equally versatile and insanely popular band known as Dir en grey. Being a fan of J-rock and not knowing who Kyo is is almost like being a metal fan and not knowing who Ozzy Osbourne is haha
Sweet! This another good jrock band! I found out about visual kei/jrock scene not even a week ago (gazette, d'espairsray, dir en grey, oz, and sadie to name a few) It's like hitting a music jackpot!
Gackt, Girugamesh, 12012, Versailles, Megaromania, Sug, The Gazette, Moi Dix Mois, Malice Mizer, Sadie, Dir En Grey, Vistlip, and Vidoll. Lol that's all I can remember thus far but these are my tops 12012 is awesome, this is my fav song along with Pistol

12012 are great, you cant justify them on one song of theirs...so you might not like this one, but have you heard any of their others? i agree strongly with kyo, to be fair 12012 compared to alot of bands really dont scream that much, it might stand out more in this song, but the gazette are alot more hardcore and yet are still amazing!
chyeaa! the guitars kind of messed up my flow of the song but now ive decided that theres two ways to interpret the songs beat. the right wrong way and the right off way...if that makes sense to other people... but mitsu to tsuba took me 2 weeks to figure it out. they are one of my ultimate favorites too!

gazette was pretty cool, not much fan anymore since toxic and, division maybe was a recent album, but, vivid and Monolith are also fairly super cool! vivid has more similar sounding musical similarity to 12012.

die ziehen das an was zur musik passt. hier singen sie darüber dass die welt verkommt und so "kalt" wird. da passt nur was dunkles. in einem anderen lied singen sie wieder über andere sachen. deswegen heißen sie ja visual kei-band. [they put on what goes well with the song. here they are singing about the breaking world and how "cold" it is getting. and what fits better than smth dark? in other songs they are singing about other and look like that. thats why they are called a visualkei band.]
