Nop La primera versión de dir en grey no es ni siquiera tan pesada UNSRAW encima lanzaron esto en 2006 ERA MAS PESADO DE DIR EN GREY EN ESE TIEMPO 2006-2007 HASTA QUE DIR EN GREY LANZO "UROBORSO
Since most of my fav bands already disbanded, I kinda moving on from this vk scene. The only good thats left is Dir en Grey, MUCC, the Gazette and some others.
+Sarcastichuman Beingsarcastic Did you check out DEZERT? Their last singles weren't that good, but their EPs, compilations and two albums are amazing and reminiscent of that era of VK
So glad I got to catch them live before they disbanded. Was one of the better gigs I've been too, pretty intense. Blood was spilt over the entire crowd as a nice bonus.
It took me a couple years or so to re-find this. And even then, I finally found it through a VK wiki lol My only clue was “literally the band’s whole look was Dir en grey’s look in Obscure”
This band is one of the best in my book that visual kei has ever had. The first time I heard them was in an Asian music room on IMVU. I had fallen asleep because I was sad and depressed. But this scream of uggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh woke me up and I'm like wtf is this? It'd be perfect for torching the fellow American's outside. But for now its 3am. MUTE! Then found out the song and downloaded it the next day. "The drummer says all American's are pigs" My reply is "THATS OKAY UNSRAW I
awe fuck they have to have it somewhere in japan or over here in the states. People in tha states are always trying to cosplay as Jrock/visual Kei artist's. Idk why but they do lol.
Been a long while since I heard these guys. Remember finding them on a site black rose label or some such thing like that... was just a bunch of VK stuff. I don't remember the contrast between the growls and the singing tone being so intense, but damn, that is some range.
I was there too!!! He grabbed my hand when he stagedived..^^ It was so amazing!! This song was live so much better!! I miss them too..:( But when i got home i found out that Rai is leaving the band after the europe tour!! Can't believe my favorite band is falling apart!!
@Rhornez Yuuki's close friend passed away and he felt like he couldn't do this any longer, so yuuki the leader singer left the band and the band felt like they couldn't continue without him so they disbanded :/
ahh Seo Taiji from what ive heard is a Korean legend and his talent of music is appreciated by many artists such as Korn some of the jrock artists seem to know him too, and i know that Taiji does some of his recordings at Japan
oh shit, someone mentioned seo taiji on this unsraw video. ok. his earliest stuff with the taiji boys was pop, then he gradually changed to harder rock and then his 6th album was mid-era korn. now he's sorta emoish though still tuned to drop c, BUT check out the song F.M Business its my favorite song of his, and its a kickass rock/metal song. really cool video to it as well.
Love them not because of their looks but because of their music. Why start a conflict saying "they look like dir en grey bla bla bla" or a conversation saying "waaaa they're so kawaii, i love them", anyways it's yours. This is supposed to be a brutal band not some kawaii or such.
Me sorprende realmente que hayan salido en 2006 ya haciendo death metal en el Visual kei... Un poco antes que dir en grey ya que en el uroboros, dir en grey implemento el death metal en el album....
I still remember their concert like it was yesterday. It was in 2010. I'm getting old (29) and somehow still have passion towards visual kei. Not brave enough to show off this kind of style on the street though :D
@HoveringAboveMyself I actually listen to a lot of music from different countries .. and lol, this isn't "death metal" as I know it, but I still like the growls. I don't think his is generic, (this is an odd way to put it but) it sounds more natural. And hell, the world is full of differing opinions anyway, so this is just more to my taste than mainstream American junk :s P.S. I'm not trying to sound snobby, I'm a rock fan, so it just sounds that way, sorry if this sounded kinda condescending.
@AkaneEverRed i bought their whole album. i have dir en grey , girugameshu, unsraw, maximuim hormone lipbizkit with balls, arc en ciel, D, malice mizer, japan x, v kei,
Damn. High school memories just hit me like a tonne of bricks.
Same. My god. I was obsessed with the entire genre of visual kei.
@@frosttheweavile461 same.
me too omg
The only japanese metal/visual kei band that still go hard and not disbanded is dir en grey. I wish more band can be like this
2023. I love this band. They go hard.
未だにこのCD聴いてる
初期のdir en greyみたいでハマる
This isn’t Dir en Grey. Nor do they resemble them imo.
サディの迷彩みたい

this singer has the most epic scream in history.
Totally agree. First time I heard something like this.
lmao
No joke, Yuuki scares the shit out of me. In a good way.
It took me a couple years or so to re-find this. And even then, I finally found it through a VK wiki lol
My only clue was “literally the band’s whole look was Dir en grey’s look in Obscure”
He sings like kyo too
if slipknot was japanese, they'd definitely be visual kei
and i mean all of this in a "SO COOL" way
Legendary band. Will forever be missed.
2019 FROM COLOMBIA, SOMEONE MORE? 😉
From Hungary the year of diasters
2021 US, think Yuuki has amazing vocals still next to Ruki from The Gazette.
And the award for the most unlikely scream goes to... Can't get enough of this band
I used to follow their personal websites (most of them Ameblos) and I was really sad when they announced they split up... it was in 2011.
Freshman year of high school was a year. This was one of the bands that got me through that “experience”.
UnsraW forever! We need this mid-late 2000s vk aesthetic back!
Miss their music...
I can't believe I'm just now hearing about this band, this is a really good song. Off to find more songs from them!
Still listening in 2020. A bummer they disbanded so long ago, I miss them. :/

awe fuck they have to have it somewhere in japan or over here in the states. People in tha states are always trying to cosplay as Jrock/visual Kei artist's. Idk why but they do lol.

I'm in love with this band and this song
@Rhornez Yuuki's close friend passed away and he felt like he couldn't do this any longer, so yuuki the leader singer left the band and the band felt like they couldn't continue without him so they disbanded :/
