    I feel so lucky that I finally got to try a Ladybug out! I have spent the last month playing around with the Ladybug Tekno 2350 with TANCS and it's been amazing. I've heard about the Ladybug and when they contacted me to see if I wanted to try the units out, I immediately jumped at the opportunity. We tested it on almost every surface of our home - it has never felt cleaner!
    Thanks to our friends at www.ladybugstea... for letting us try these out and for helping us learn so much!

    "If you wanna know the difference between a $200 steam cleaner and a $2000 steam cleaner, keep watching!"
    Me by the middle of the video: "Man I hope this is the $200 one..."

    Hello, I realise this is an older video, however there is something that I can't help but comment on! "Steam" is hotter than "vapour" not the other way around! "Steam" is water in its gas state and occurs when water is heated over 100 degrees Celsius (ish). "Vapour" is the visible mist that has condensed to water droplets in the air, and has a temperature below 100 degrees Celsius. There, now I can watch the review...

      They are both referred to as the gaseous state of water eventhough there is a slight difference between them.

    Think about it like this, I've been given a machine to try out which is the gold standard in the industry. They've spend years perfecting it. It really doesn't have flaws, so indeed it got an amazing review. It is expensive and that does preclude some people from being able to get one, and that is a shortcoming, but one that they can't do anything about. Just because I like something and say it works well, does not mean it was a product placement.

    This channel is dedicated to helping people clean better.
    Some of our viewers are looking for affordable cleaning products to use around their homes.
    Some of our viewers own / operate cleaning companies and require high-end, heavy-duty products to conduct their business.
    If this product isn't for you, that's fine, but there's no need to speak for everyone else.

    One great tip I can give you is, use distilled or filtered water. I have and do own several steam machines and tap water leaves calcium deposits in the machine. Use filtered water and you eliminate the issue.

    Melissa - in July in your Mattress cleaning video you stated that some people use a steam cleaner on their mattress for dust mites and that some also deep clean ... But that you do neither even tho you have access to both machines because their should never be moisture on the mattress.
    In this video you stated that you spent 20 mins doing just that.
    Has this machine changed your mind ? Or were you just showing its capabilities ? You still don't recommend steam cleaning the mattress ?
    Thanks.

    Well, Melissa has tested, and dissed, other products. And she has pointed out some shortcomings with her favourite brands in other videos. Here she admitted that the cost of a LadyBug might be prohibitive to the average homeowner, but a worthwhile purchase for someone in the cleaning industry.

  • @cleanmyspace
    @cleanmyspace  11 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Well, that's like asking for a budget-friendly version of a sports car! There are lots of alternative products out there, this one (as I said in the video) is the top of the line so it's hard to offer a budget version of it. A lot of professionals use this so when it is being designed and manufactured, it's done with the best materials and research which is why it is so expensive.

  • @Tx86Mommyof3
    @Tx86Mommyof3 11 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    These are expensive but I still want to buy one even if just to use for around house. I could lend to my mom and mother in law and my grandma from time to time. I think it would really come in handy. I think it would be a good investment on time and cleaning supplies and cleaning solutions. I don't have the money to just spend that much right now. So I would definitely save up for it :)

  • @cleanmyspace

    Vapour is a smaller, tighter, drier version of steam which is why we differentiated between the two. Vapour is created when the water is hotter, steam arises from cooler water comparatively speaking.

  • @cleanmyspace
    @cleanmyspace  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi Jessica, no - it's available all over the world! The product is actually manufactured in Italy and the company I was working with is US-based.

  • @coreywilliams7445
    @coreywilliams7445 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Fun fact: Not only it's powerful, but it's eco-friendly.
    use it to wash your car for example:
    Steamer vs water hoses. The steamer only uses 2 liters of water while the water hose uses 80 liters or more. Therefor, the steamer dosen't waste much water. We all know Steam kills bacteria very fast.

    The towels are better to use because grease and grime will come off them in the wash. Microfiber is not good to use for grease or grime, because it's extremely difficult to remove oils from microfiber seeing that it is a synthetic.

    Try Barkeeper's Friend for the ring around your sink, and the toilet hinges and bold, well, you can just pre-soak that area and then clean a few moments later. Have you seen our toilet cleaning video? We cover that in the video.

    i don't understand one thing - you say that 'vapour' is hotter than steam - but vapour (using a chemistry based definition) is only visible because it is at less that 100 degrees Celsius and has started to slightly condensate. Steam at 100 degrees Celsius cannot be seen by the human eye. If your only using water, how is the 'vapour' coming out hotter than steam? it's really bugging me so if you could explain it would be much appreciated =)

    There's no comparison...this is a professional machine. The continuous steam function is not approved for the Ladybug, because the vapour can severely injure someone (it's amazingly powerful). For a consumer machine the other one is fine, but it's difficult to compare performance!

    Toilet hinges and that metal ring around my kitchen sink drain are the bane of my existence. I have purchased a toilet seat that pops off and then I rinse the whole thing, hinges included, under hot water. Plus, I can then clean around the bolt on the toilet where the seat attaches. Admittedly, that steam cleaner looks downright dreamy, but they've priced themselves right out of my market. Can you recommend any affordable options?

      No they aren't. Water vapor is water droplets that exist in the air, while steam is water heated to the point that it turns into a gas. Both are referred to as the gaseous state of water. However there is a slight difference between them.

    Does it remove odors (e.g. wooden cutting board)? Does it remove burned on grease (e.g. ovens and electric coil stove drip pans)? Does it remove soap scum from glass shower doors? Does it remove stains and odors from fabric, upholstery, and carpet?

  • @cleanmyspace
    @cleanmyspace  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Oh goodness :( - well, it's hard to say a cheaper alternative, because this is a top of the line, professional product. So I don't really have something to compare it to that's cheaper, because what is cheaper is not professional so it can't do the same thing. You might really enjoy a steam cleaner, have you ever tried one?

  • @cleanmyspace
    @cleanmyspace  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    It's hard to give a cheaper alternative, it's like asking for a budget sports car, you know what I mean? They are so expensive because of what they contain, the cheaper ones just can't do what these do because the cost of production is much lower. Make sense?

    My point is that you just can't rewrite thermodynamics. Water vapour is the gaseous phase of H2O. Steam is the same. While you can refer to different temperatures and different RH values, they are not different. High temperature steam is still steam. Vapour pressures exist across the whole temperature spectrum, for all fluids.
