Game two is it not possible for the tenpai player just to activate thrust for a third spell into the grave for widow anchor to take? I know it was crossout but it does not prevent you from activating it correct?
@@TheDBGrinder Depending on the list he might had lethal. Can’t you just use thrust game 2 to get the third spell in grave…given their hand, they were gonna lose if they didn’t end the game that turn, so the thrust in hand didn’t matter.
Both games were winnable. I don’t know if that Tenpai player was new to the deck but he could have gotten lethal both times and I had to rewatch the video twice to make sure he had game.
@ not even that. In game 2, if he didn’t use Fadra to summon Genroku and instead summoned Paidra, he could have gotten game even through the pot. I was legit going crazy because he had game if he remembered that the ability to synchro is not a hard opt.
@@wiccanjacewithout knowing the list the only card that deck actually seems to give a fuck about is Desirae. So unless they going sequence you hold impulse. Especially with that hand.
@@JaduYGO I don’t play with impulse, mostly because I don’t have it and it’s not fair testing to me to play a card I don’t have, but even with impulse accounted for, he had game that turn. Game 1, the Tenpai player tribute Genroku to summon a 2nd Fadra because there's no more 2nd Paidra, and that was lethal. Huh. I wonder how are Tenpai ratios going to turn out
Prosp was negated so the damage is not halved. But no there was no way for him to summon Trident. If he did instead of Transcended then blue would've sent Desirae instead of Engraver to out it and also Paidra got hit with called by so if he uses Genroku to special out Paidra the quick effect to synchro will be negated so yeah no way for him to win game 1.
9:55 when you have the 4 guys can’t you just go chundra+paidra into bident into 10 and then revive bident, bident + fadra into trident, trident pop 10 and genroku, revive 10 pop attack for game
But I think at 11:05 after attacking with Bident, he could have summoned Trident with Bident and Genroku, Pop Chundra and Lvl 10 for Trident with 3 attacks for 4.5k damage which would be game, but there is still the Fiendsmith Trap in grave to interrupt the Trident OTK.
@@Spirit_Beast_ At that exact moment there is no way to summon Trident. Genroku doesn't have the quick effect to synchro summon and Chundra says "including this card" so yeah he could've summoned another synchro 7 but that still wouldn't have been game because of Prosp.
Game 1 they would have won if they have a second fadra in deck. Game 2 they just activated fadra too early. They should've made bident with chundra and paidra then brought paidra back then made the lv 10. Attack with 10 to kill detonator and bring back paidra off fadra. Then get 800+950+1500(transcendent)+4500(trident)+1300(bident) to get 9050 damage

@ 8:40 there was a way to negate and steal detonator, which is use thrust even when it was negated to put 3 spells in grave.
ye that would force them to pop dead
Quite sure there was lethal In both g1 and g2
Literally was gg both games from tenpai player but he fumbled the bag
how would you have played out game 1 , game 2 i understand but game 1 seems rough (without looking back just off memory)
@TheDBGrinder yeah, I looked back at g1 and pretty sure I was wrong it doesn't look winnable

Would've been 6K damage because of Prosperity so yeah the Tenpai player still loses.
the tenpai player should've had game if they just summoned a lvl 3 and then they can make trident and pop transcendent and genroku and have lethal.
But isnt the Fiendsmith Trap an Interruption in grave to kill the Trident preventing the OTK?
