Rhianna has a bit of an advantage because Fenty already has a relationship with retail stores, so I'm expecting Fenty hair to be in the price range of Carols Daughter, Mielle. The thing is it makes more sense for Beyonce and her mom to launch a haircare line bc of Tina's haircare background, and the family has heads of healthy hair. Rihanna not so much, I've never even seen her hair but I guess it's another leg to go with the her beauty brand.

Everybody got a hair care, skin care, clothing line, lip line, panty line, etc. Anyone can do anything they want. I’m not really surprised about Rihanna because Fenty already sells clothes, lingerie, makeup, and shoes (I believe I just saw some commercial with her in the jungle advertising shoes). Hair is just one more thing to add and plenty of people praise Fenty products. Beyoncé is successful enough to come out with a line and have sells. I think people are only giving her a hard time because they believe her coming out with these products is a sign she’s suffering financially or not getting as much money from performing as she would wish. Honestly, this is a good way to set up revenue when Beyoncé decides she does not want to perform anymore. Kind of like what Rihanna is able to do now, because there is not need for her to come out with an album or go on another tour ever again. Fenty is that successful. There is no need to compare these two beautiful and talented ladies. A job is still a job and even if it’s your passion, there is always the chance it gets old in the future. People look into different avenues; I know quite a few people that do realty on the side for example. Overall, this situation just doesn’t matter

The way I see it, Rihanna has been successful in her beauty care line for years now, and beauty and hair care are closely related. It makes sense that people would be very interested in her hair care line because she has been giving them reliable products for years with her beauty line, so it's just as likely they would think her hair care line would be just as good and reliable. Whereas Beyoncé unfortunately hasn't always had the best success when venturing into other projects, such as fashion lines and perfumes. That's not a diss to her, it just means she's stronger in other areas, and in the areas where she's not, there will be other people who happen to be strong in those areas, like Rihanna. The consumers will always go with the best product that works, not necessarily the person who is the bigger celebrity
