Great! I would encourage you to learn where all the naturals are, and figure out the finger pattern on each string. (hint: 3rd finger is the oddball) Good luck!

Your playing is beautiful and I've been watching your tutorials and I was wondering if I'd be able to request a song tutorial. I'm very interested in learning the fiddle parts of "Cowboy Take Me Away" by The Chicks. It's the song that inspired me to pick up this instrument and I find myself discouraged because I can't seem to find the music or an accurate tutorial. Thanks!!

I watched the song. I LOVE her hair....I wish I could pull off that color! Anyway, it will be a long time before I have time to do a tutorial on this tune because I'm filming my beginner's fiddle course.....if you wanted to hire one of my colleagues to do it, I can put you in touch with someone.
