    An absolute beautiful car.
Let's hope Jeep brings out some bigger versions of the Avenger in the future.
    Awesome review as always 🥳🥳

Even in the hot weather, Derek still wears the jumper. He is on brand. Lol. Really enjoyed this review, great job. The car seems a really decent offering, good city and long journeys look like they could easily be done.

Thanks for the great first review of this Derek.
Being a Peugeot e208 driver (very happy with it as our 2nd car) and it being mostly the same car as the Jeep underneath I’ll be very interested in checking the Jeep out in a couple of years when I’m due to change the Peugeot.
I think it it a gorgeous design. Hoping the real world range is a bit better than the Peugeot (150 miles in winter) but if the basic chassis and drivetrain are the same I’d love one.

Yes, real world range should be much better! I'm looking forward to testing it in Ireland on our roads too

I own a Jeep Compass 4x4, 2 Ltr diesel here in India nad I love the car for what it offers both on and off road. I may not be a hardcore mud plugger but it does the job well enough without compromisisng a lot of on road comfort. Was looking fwd to this. Looks and seems good but I strongly feel that a Jeep that dose'nt really go off road isnt a Jeep. Somewhere Jeep needs to draw a line between nice cars and a Jeep without compromising on what makes Jeep a Jeep in the first place. Hope Jeep does something about that coz I love Jeep for what it is - a Jeep.

Other than the leg room in the back I really like it

  • @desobrien7357

A good range for battery size. Looks bigger than b segment. OK room in back tight but so are many b segment cars for 1.8m plus driver and passengers. Perfect for me as I'm 1.65m.
The protective plastics on the outside is great.
Loved the review now to see the price.

@@NevoEVReviewIreland I'd say this new ID 2 will give it a run for it's money when it's out. apparently it's going to be a sub 25K car. Stellantis might have to look at their pricing next year.

Not quite a grand cherokee size. Good to see them going electric. Hope they release an electric replacement for the Jeep Grand Cherokee. Quadradrive-II was the best 4x4 drive system on the market in the ICE days. FWD seems pointless for a 4x4 Jeep form. Won't sell unless its 4x4 AWD. Looks too small for a proper Jeep. Good review as ever Derek.

I believe full electrification across the range is planned. Agreed on the Quadradrive II. Very very capable 4x4

@@NevoEVReviewIreland Yip in the big snow of 2009+2010 I towed more land cruisers and range rovers out of ditches around here than I cared for. Locally we call them 'snow terrorists', Donnybrook tractors who don't even carry a shovel in the boot not to mention chains or even a proper jacket. Total nussainse whenever it snows in North Wicklow, South Dublin unequipped comes out to play, usually the first and only time a 'dad' has driven on a bit of ice and snow, but excited there 4x4 is going to do what it was designed to do "IN THE RIGHT HANDS"

550 km. range = city and summer!!! Isn't this the same for all evs? Driving mostly motorways in the winter will bring it down to 300 km. range? :)

How does this even approach 300 miles with a 50ish kWh battery? You’d have to get like 166 wh/mi to go that far.

It’s got decent range. About 200 to 300 miles. A little cramped inside. Under 10 second 0 to 60 mph. Decent. Decent turning circle. A Jeep without 4 wheel drive? FAIL! No 4x4, it’s not a Jeep. It’s just another car. It looks to me like this is just a battery powered Jeep Renegade. And it does not have recovery hooks! When the AWD sport or 4x4 Trailhawk version shows up, then your onto something.
I am happy to see an electric Jeep on the market, but this one is not one I would buy. It’s got to be able to do real jeep off road things. This one can’t. At least not yet.
