- Hello everyone! Sorry the video is a little laggy and the volume is so low. I'm getting used to this new microphone and I was trying to use OBS and uhmmm it was and is a learning curve. **Again I ranked these characters based on Oda's character design only**. If I missed any characters or got a bit biased because of their personality well...I must say I am only human. Please let me know your opinions and if you would've ranked them differently. (: I appreciate your time here and look forward to our discussions!

Buggy on Goat-A already makes this a very good list

I love that you're enjoying one piece enough to make videos like this already, im super excited for you to experience the story going forward. It pretty much just keeps getting better and better the further in you get, and i really hope you avoid spoilers, maybe you could get someone whos already caught up to help you set up these kind of videos going forward so you dont risk seeing any future manga pannels or accidentally reading anything?
The joy of one piece is the exploration and having that spoiled, even by accident would suck

Glad you're enjoying it so far. Im sure you have already been advised, but just in case, the live action show does spoil something about a character so i would recommemd holding off until after the Post-Enies Lobby arc to watch it, but you do you. Look forward to your reaction/review of it whenever you do watch it :)

I think my favorite EB design is Mihawk's. He was obviously very impactful to the plot, but he is also super sharp and striking from his design alone!

A few things. 1. Absolutely loved this! Can’t wait for longer videos and I think livestream would be fun! 2. I agree that Don Krieg was a harder fight than Arlong, and I believe that is a common sentiment in the fandom. 3. Nojiko, Gin, and Koby being in basic surprises me. I feel like their character designs communicate very well who they are as people and that’s worth a lot to me, I would put them in the potential category. 4. Love to see Bellemare in GOAT-A. 5. I have to go to bat for my man Smoker. I think his design is great, I would put him in Good but. His fighting style matches his design well I think, and his introduction shows us a good side of the marines when he is nice to the little girl (I will admit the scene with the little girl makes me very biased)

@@NoelleD. I didn’t realize Smoker hadn’t fought yet, I watched the anime (other than most recent events since I want to stay caught up) and Smoker has fought by the end of East Blue. Is the end of Loguetown grouped in with the next saga for some reason? Smoker should have fought someone before the crew moves on past loguetown (apologies if that’s spoilers)

@@mattf315 yeah I wanna say it is because the end of East blue is just Luffy where Captain Rgr was. Then it blows up and he’s free. Then that’s the end of volume 11 and East blue I’m pretty sure*.

Buggy is really divisive, there's people that absolutely hates his design, and people who put him in Goat-A 🤣.
I loved Sanji's design from the start, using only feet/legs to fight is SO COOL for me, even if it's more difficult 😂. (I always loved Hworang from Tekken for the same reason).
Plus the cig, I don't smoke but he makes it cool lol

Awwwww my man Helmeppo in the last tier despite the fact you like onions, he looks exactly like one !
Gaimon and Bellemere top tier is pretty based.
Young onion has a little sprout on the top of his head which give him cute onion qualities. Helmeppo, I'd argue, is more like a microphone. Or maybe like those oblong yellow onions. And he also has a major butt chin and his smirk is evil. And he's got them "daddy's money" clothes. He just looks like an a**hole. Howeverrrr, onion, and the whole crew, are cute and small!
I love the rescue animals, hearing deaf kitty sing was a highlight for me ^_^

A reason that people say that the east blue saga is weak is likely them comparing it to the rest of the series. To me, yes by default the east blue is bat far the “weakest” of the series, but only because many other arcs here after just get better a better imo.

I started reading them after watching the live action. I hated Usopp at first. I just thought his lying was annoying. Right now, im on volume 28, and he's grown on me to the point I'd put him in high A, though.
