International Dance Day

April 29 is International Dance Day! The Dance Centre commissioned Vancouver filmmaker Jason Karman to create a video celebrating the vibrant diversity of dance in our community, and its capacity to bring people together.
Dancers: Baldeep Dulay (bhangra), Tony Giroux (hip hop), Arash Khakpour (contemporary) and Veronica Stewart (flamenco).
Conceived and directed by Jason Karman; Director of photography - Tyler McGrath; Producers - Steve Menchions and Brad Harder; Music - Joe Marcel Berry. Special thanks to the University of British Columbia, the Cineworks Play It Forward program and Telus.
