Several years ago I met a young family who had a very shy child. They wanted to get her a pet to help her out with her shyness. So I suggested a couple of baby chicks. So they went to the feed store and talked to the clerk and came home with 3 chick's. The best thing that ever happened to that child. She still has them and they are her best friends and she loves sharing her chicken stories. Which helped her shyness around people.
Oh my goodness, Uriah! He is so cute dancing to his own music while helping out! He is so sweet! So are all the kiddos. Always willing to help out. Great work guys!
They are so light they barely even notice being moved around like that. It looks really rough and mean but they literally weight a couple ounces. Its why various birds who have nests really high up have their babies chuck themselves out of nests and are fine when they land.
Unfortunately, that is how it has become in such professions where you take care of hundreds if not thousands every day😢 Those chosen for the "White house on the hill" at least get a good home on their farm. Prayers to all the others🐣
Love watching how your family works together with all the birds. I’m looking forward to your new calf. Continued Blessings every step of the way as you develop your dream.
Can there be a later video showing what chicken lays which egg please? I just love your family so much, you guys are so incredible, the work ethic, the bond, and the love for nature. Thank you so much for all your videos I’m always happier at the end of the video then when I began watching it.
I really enjoyed seeing the whole cycle of chick to roaming adult. I'd definitely be someone who goes in to pick up 10 and leaves with 25 chicks😄 Great winter layout for the farm. I cannot believe how grown the boys are...and it's great seeing the whole family making the farm and channel successful. Thanks for sharing with us!
Here in louisiana, we have a lot of hot days with no real winter. When i put chicks in my brooder, i plug my heatlamp into the thermostat for my seed starting heat mats, and place the probe just under their substrate. Works like a charm. No guessing.
We usually turn it on at night and leave it off during the day. But when we build a barn, we’ll include a chick brooder room and consider doing something like that.
It's always a treat to see your family in action with your flock of birds and herd of animals, and Eli has turned into such a huge helper to have around. Uriah too! I'm so appreciative of your values and in awe of how you are raising such wholesome, well-rounded, pleasant children, and I can't wait to see all the different colored eggs that these new chickens lay! I'll put my two cents in and say that the white peacock should be isolated. There likely is a disease or virus that he and his (sadly) deceased siblings have contracted, and he probably developed the antibodies to not be affected. It's unfortunate, but in my opinion, it is better to have one isolated peacock than a dead flock. Also, I personally do not know if you have any exotic vets nearby or if they would do a checkup on him, but if you can, I definitely recommend it. Best of luck with the peacock!
It’s always so nice to see you and your fam doing everything together, but I must say that every time I get a notice of one of your new videos I’m hoping it be be on the grand opening of the new aviary. What’s up!?

i love chickens sooooooo much and i love seeing all the chickens on your videos ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Name that splash coaching blizzard 🌨 because it’s look so pretty and white and nice job with the baby chicks 🐤, my baby sister love them so much
Beautiful breeds. I especially love the speckled Sussex and the blue laced wyandotte. Bummer that the speckled Sussex turned out to be a rooster. The hens are more beautiful in my opinion.
I love how he just throws the little chicks around
He shouldn't be doing that they can get hurt easily
I have a light Sussex, blue leghorn and Orpington blue with gold
Bella's little cowgirl boots!
😍
The man is abusing them can you get all of them
Pls🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Yea like wtf why was he just grabbing them by the neck and throwing them around they are very fragile :(
Once you are gonna move the birds into the aviary, you might want to check them in terms of checking of they have deseaces, so that if they have it that it wont spread and kill any more birds
I’m trying to get my Andalusian rooster to sire with a bunch of my gentle giant hens I’m growing out! That one breed he mixed his Andalusian rooster to got me excited!!!
Iove your show I am very excited to see how your new chicks going to look like when they grow
Thanks, Luis!
Can you please do another tour around the farm? Love you guys!
I wonder if it would be possible to make a dolly that would hook to the back of the side by side and the chicken tractors holding the end up about an inch to a inch and a half that would allow you to slowly pull them across the yard with the side by side
Thèse chicks were lucky to have u guys. Masha Allah 💕 .
How do you prevent diseases from spreading? I have quails and I want get a few other birds. What do you suggest!?
We had a great feed store that would order any breed you wanted so you know what i had to do right? Yep, go overboard every time😆 Pickup day was the best day EVER!💗💗💗💗
