You touched on a really important subject around people with financial ability to take legal action against the police. This is why they abolish legal aid for civil claims. It makes it very difficult for someone to get Justice following their unlawful arrest. This is a deliberate strategy.

The premises I work in has over 60 external cameras and even more internal cameras… There is no way to permanently store that amount of data… So as an aside if you are involved in an incident especially with cctv you really need to make a request for the footage within 5 to 7 days or you may not get it ..

YO! AB!! Those two officers were canny. I thought they were just being nice for the camera, but when they said their main role is to work with kids in gangs and try to deter them from it, it made sense. Just like youth workers cut through the bullshit of life and get to the core of issues affecting young people, using a warm human side, those coppers must be passionate and in the role for the right reasons. They were genuine and the type of policing that is needed. Loved this interaction.
