- Heyyy guys! Ahhh! I FINALLY TRIED FENTY BEAUTY!! I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to try out the brand! I hope you guys enjoy this video! I basically did a full face of Fenty, and I also made sure to do a wear test to see how everything held up. The Amber stick shade looks perfect for contouring. It should be cool-toned/greyish because it's a shadow, not a bronzer

I’m realizing we are the exact same shade in just about every foundation which is so nice because every time you try on a foundation and mention the shade I know what shade I should get if I ever try it

I think that eyeshadow primer is bomb because your eyeshadow looked so fresh and didn't move at all. Literally looked the same from the first time you applied it, that's the first thing I notice right away after 8 hours wear. And the highlight... SO STUNNING!
I’m a nurse and the Fenty foundation is one the very few that will stay in place for a whole 13 hour shift without breaking up! So if you have a long day ahead of you, it’s going to be your best friend ;)
Special occasion highlighter?.... girl I wear that diamond bomb every single day 😂🤷♀️ I am expensive all the time. I seriously can’t put the product down. I am a school teacher but I’m full glam because I enjoy doing it every morning. I layer the diamond bomb over Ofra’s glazed doughnut. I think the space station can see me glowing and I’m here for it.
Foundation.... hard pass. My skin is super dry (like no oils at all ever). I tried it as a sample I got and it was terrible for me.
Jacqueline KenKnight what foundation do you use instead? I’m super dry right now and struggling to find a medium to full coverage foundation that doesn’t flaunt my dry patches. Thanks in advance!
Natalie Villatoro I typically use a mixture of foundations so I get higher coverage than most dewy foundations give. I like the Joah foundation mixed with L’Oréal pro glow. I also love the Burt’s bees foundation mixed with KVD lock it foundation. The only one I wear on its own is the Too Faced peach perfect. It’s matte but it doesn’t emphasize dry patches on me.
Jacqueline KenKnight thank you for replying! Will have to check out the JOAH foundation since pro glow is my go to but the longevity is not the best, at least not for me, plus you are right - it is not the most full coverage. Thanks again!!!
Natalie Villatoro exactly! The longevity on pro glow isn’t great but the Joah really is great! I liked it on its own but it was a little too drying for me.
I’m super dry and have had luck with Lancôme teint idole which is a satin matte, illamasqua skin base foundation is lovely (medium buildable). I haven’t been able to make water foundations work but many dry people love them (eg. Estée Lauder double wear water foundation or tarte rainforest of the sea foundation). People keep recommending Georgio Armani luminous silk foundation but it’s a bit out of my price range (it’s AU$10-$15 more expensive than other high end foundations). Primers I love include illamasqua hydra veil and hourglass no28 oil primer (do not mix with hydra veil or water foundations - oil and water not being friendly), I also quite like smashbox’s primerizer (which has hyaluronic acid). The biggest change that has helped is to not set my whole face with powder, I do set my t-zone and undereye with powder - still narrowing down to a favourite on this, the most important thing for me is for it to be a talc free powder. I’m trying hourglass mineral veil powder, Smashbox halo-hydrating powder (which isn’t translucent), tarte filtered light translucent powder and make up store wonder powder in Sahara (not translucent and is more of an illuminating powder - I think it’s designed to be a highlighter but I’m so pale it works as a face powder). Then I set my whole face with urban decay’s all nighter pollution protection spray.
That foundation is gorgeous! On my dry skin I can't wear it alone though. I have to mix it in with a dewy, moisturizing foundation to make it work.

Allie Glines I mix mine (shade 150 also) with the Colourpop foundation because I’m not a huge fan of the Colourpop foundation on its own but mixed with the Fenty foundation I love it!!
@Allie I like mixing it with the It Cosmetics CC cream or MUFE liquid foundation :) YW!
I had dry skin when this came out so i didnt like it. Now my skin is combo but my tzone is very oily i love the foundation. I did end up trying again when i was dry with the becca first light primer and loved it with that primer.
Another trip I do for my shoots and clients with this foundation is I add a few drops of the Smashbox Primer Oil to the foundation which gives it a skin like effect!!!

I purchased the primer, foundation, match stixs, kilowatt highlighters and her first eyeshadow palette. Also her gloss bomb. The gloss bomb is my favorite along with the match stixs. I use them on my face, eyes and lips. Best thing about Fenty a lot of products you can use for different things.
I have the red stunna lip paint and it is STUNNING. One of my favorite reds by far.

I have lashes like hers and even tho everyone likes my lashes and asks me if i'm wearing falsies, they sometimes get on my nervs because when i use mascara, the tips of my lashes are too long and they are just ruining the makeup by touching the lid or the brows and getting the mascara everywhere 😑

I love how gentle you are with yourself about any blemishes. When you said they need extra love - I just love that. What a wonderful example you are setting for young people. I grew up hating my skin. And I was harsh and mean to it, and therefore to myself. TH-cam wasn't invented yet. And I really didn't have anyone to teach me about skin or makeup, or how to be nice to myself about anything less than "perfect" when it came to hair, skin, body image, etc. My generation grew up thinking we were so bad and so flawed. So glad it's changing - and YOU are a pioneer. Thank you. I have a son (and he's not into makeup) but I will definitely share your channel with my friends' who are mothers of young girls (or boys) who are venturing into the world of beauty and the dimension that is their face. Really enjoyed your video! The diamond highlighter looks so beautiful on you! I finally bought a few products from Fenty Beauty in July and it's been fun trying them out.
I love the Killawatt Highlighter Duo in Ginger Binge/Moscow Mule as the shades work really well as blushers or eyeshadows on my skin tone. I got a sample of the Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick in Candy Venom and I love it! The shade, pigment and longevity are all amazing.
I got the eyeshadow primer too but I haven't yet tried it out as I have another eye primer to finish first. Great to see that you had good experiences with it.

Awe man. I thought I had everything I wanted from the fenty collection. I now have the Moroccan spice eyeshadow pallete, diamond veil highlighter, liquid lip In uncuffed, and lip gloss in diamond milk on my wishlist.
I have tried the foundation, primer, setting powder, mini trio in fenty gloss bomb and hustla baby highlighter. The matchstick trio in medium. I love them for my eyes though. The Trophy wife highlighter and Moscow mule and ginger binge. The Fenty line is amazing! Love your review. Thank you. 💞💞💞💞💞

I have the blotting powder and LOVE it. It totally takes the shine away and refreshes the face. I got the little brush that magnetizes to the case and enjoy using that with the powder. I am in my mid 50s and the powder does not emphasize skin texture.
