I think you are overestimating the DPS due to the elemental relic auras affected by your aura effect on the passive tree/gear. A better way to simulate this is through the following: 1) Make a New PoB with no gear, or passives. Just add a lvl 27 Wrath, Hatred, Anger. 2) Export the PoB but check the box "Export Support" next to the Generate button in the Import/Export Build tab. 3) In your actual Guardian PoB go to the Party tab. This is last of the tabs Tree, Skills, items, Calcs... Import the support Pobb url you made in step 2. 4) You can Disable Party effects and Rebuild all to see dps b4 and after elemental relics. You do not need to import every time you disable/rebuild. Hope this helps.
Thanks for this! One question - have you experimented with triad grip? I did a very brief comparison with 4 green for cold conversion (realizing I may be breaking the actual gems you're using, haven't played with it that far yet), and DPS goes up over 16M. This is even considering the loss of aspect of the spider (and I did not attempt to slot in another aura, which you may be able to do now that you're at ~20% unreserved mana).
I considered Triad Grip for the build but didn't take the time to figure it out for this build. I've used it on a Summon Skeletons build before and it's quite strong, but as you said it does limit your gem options pretty severely.
Sorry I completely forgot to reply to this. If you already have the Fractured +2, then use Deafening Essences of Fear until you get good Attack Speed + (optionally) other desirable mods. Other good mods are: Prefixes: +1 to socketed Gems (very rare), Mana Leech or flat +Mana if you need it. Suffixes: nothing much besides attack speed, +Intelligence is good if you need it. If you have an open suffix you can craft Minion Attack Speed. There's also a fossil crafting method with higher potential payoff, but way more expensive on average and I don't recommend it. If you check my original build guides from 3.18 and 3.20 and look at the main PoB, the Notes tab has a detailed crafting guide for all of the items.
Personally I wouldn't use it on this build because it turns off life regen and this build doesn't really care about character attack damage. The attack speed would certainly feel nice for spawning minions faster though. Eldritch Implicit on gloves also provides +Additional Strike Targets which feels really nice.
Absolution is probably a better build overall, but I'm not the person to ask for how to make that build, sorry. I also haven't really properly used Fleshcrafter much before.
Never played a minion build before but why do we not care about our own damage? Surely you can deal decent damage yourself with a good staff + the nodes 'minion damage also affects you' and 'minion attack speed also affects you'
There are a few reasons for this: 1. The big advantage of playing a minion build is your minions can deal damage while you are moving around. You can't move while swinging Dominating Blow (but you do have to stop to swing once in a while to maintain your army). 2. Wording in Path of Exile is very specific. "Increases to minion damage" does not include "more damage" multipliers, and we have a lot of those on our minions. Spiritual Aid basically just gives us enough damage to take out normal monsters to spawn our initial army. 3. Because of #2, it is much easier to focus on scaling either your own damage, or the minion damage, and for this build your damage will never come close to your minion damage. Minions also scale very hard off of gem skill levels, while your own melee attacks do not. Your melee attacks scale mainly off of weapon damage, but it's hard to get good weapon damage while also getting good minion stats on the weapon, which you can get a lot of.
Thanks, I was already looking to do something similar to this, and you've just given me a few gold nuggets to work with!

nice vid , looks like a really strong 2nd or 3rd char if u like minions
BTW I league started a version of this - currently level 89 in T16 maps and no problems.
Since the build already uses ashes, one could hope that fresh meat will have a quality with better duration to make it even easier to keep up.
thanks yo, not starting gaurdian but def one after prob
What about a holy relic setup with guardian blessing? 4th free aura?
So whats the verdict here? Cant really the buff ingame so does fresh meat work with dom blow?
Could someone test the new fresh meat support on this? does it work? Would like to try this

You could use a grip of the council. To get a 100% cold expos from your uttility minions
thank you for build . do you think this build can do blight ?
The old impale version of the build could do Blight no problem, so I see no reason why this couldn't.
@@PrismaSigma i see thank you glad it can wanna try this build with vaal look nice .
How can I craft that staff of your ? I have a fractment +2 melee gem already

In this setup , would berserk with Kaoms be a decent choice (at least for zooming?) or +2aoe gloves is clearly bis

ive played animated guardian a while back. does he still lose equipped items on death? I hate it back then when i lost everything
Yes, Animate Guardian still loses items on death. You can however make extremely tanky AG's now.
Any takes on absolution or flesh crafter? I feel absolution would scale much better since it can use the wrath aura way more effectively
Absolution is probably a better build overall, but I'm not the person to ask for how to make that build, sorry. I also haven't really properly used Fleshcrafter much before.
Would it be possible to switch Holy relic in for animate Guardian? I struggle with keeping the Guardian alive
Absolutely. I use Holy Relic on my Dominating Blow characters until I'm ready to setup an AG.
