    *Great for a family of 2 or 3. It cooks quinoa, white, jasmine **MyBest.Kitchen** and brown rice really well. Easy to clean and store because of the size. We haven't used the steamer part of it yet.*

      No, it doesn’t come with a rice paddle.

    Where did you get the steam buns? I love chashu and vegetable buns. The steamer is so fancy for the kitchen. The color and style work so well.

    Do you need to empty water in the steamer after every use?

    • @ChrisHanxoxo
      @ChrisHanxoxo  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t think so. For any non-smelly food, I just empty water and clean the steamer twice a week or once every 3/4 uses.

    I like my vegetables steamed but I don't see how you can stream a lot of vegetables in this steamer? You have to put the vegetables on a plate?

    • @ChrisHanxoxo
      @ChrisHanxoxo  ปีที่แล้ว

      For veggies, you can put a plate. The steamer comes with a plate that fits perfectly for this steamer tray.

    Does the vegetable steamer product have any plastic parts on it that get exposed to heat?

    • @ChrisHanxoxo
      @ChrisHanxoxo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, this steamer does have plastic parts that handle hot water. The heating bottom is stainless steel.

      @@ChrisHanxoxo so isn't that unhealthy even if it's bpa free?

      @@matthewmcgraw8791 This is a good question. This particular plastic part is not transferring chemicals to food because it doesn't touch the food directly. There is a plastic tray to hold remaining water under the stainless steel tray that holds food or plate. As far as I know, the plastic material is food grade just like the plastic parts in my dishwasher. As a consumer, I am comfortable with this material - I don't see any issues so far. But I would like to eliminate plastic use in my cookware and appliances in a long run.

      @@ChrisHanxoxo ok thanks for your reply.
      Although the plastic in your dishwasher might be ok to clean your dishes, but your not steaming vegetables of fish ect in your dishwasher either.
      Do u know of an electric food steamer that doesn't use plastic?
