one of the reasons i still love the whole Sailor Moon universe is discovering that aside from building an entertaining, bitter-sweet complex fantasy story, N. Takeuchi used alot of mythology nd folklore in her work. As a child i was introduced to so many mythological motifs i barely understood as a teen or adult: Greek gods, the tale of Selene&Endymion, The Goblet, Sword& Mirror, The Maiden& The Unicorn(wings aside)/ The Sun& Moon motif (see the Helios/Chibiusa arc), i find it even educational:)
i wish the upcoming release of the new sailor moon has helios in it more!! maybe it can actually show or tell the story about how they get married! maybe a vision of their future could even be nice :D i cried when he had to leave!! hate how they made them fall in deep love and didnt have him come back D:
Base on some of the comments of this site, I did see only a fan designed sailor New Moon the former Sailor Mini Moon. She appears to be like 18. It's possible with this fan that these two are already married or will be married to Helios.
i love watchn this vid, it's intense and cool, yet sad. it's extremely good, great job!^^ i so need to get bk to watch SM, i wanna get to know pegasus/helios. and i love this song, it makes me think of a fanfic im writing. anyways, great job, i think i'd say 5 stars^^

This ark is so sad in the manga. SPOILERS Useing Japanese names. Helios finds chibiusa and she is glad someone wants her. Then when Helios describes the young maden he is looking for she began to douts that she is the one needed. It turns out that Helios wanted Usagi instead of Chibiusa. Chibiusa is broken knowing that she is not needed. Helios never gives her a second thought after that. Chibiusa thinks that she is useless and not needed but Usagi cheers her up saying she is needed and to remember that she is the senshi of cristal tokyo and she is needed there as well as here to train for the task.
Actually, you got a few facts mixed. The maiden he was searching for himself, so to speak, was indeed Chibiusa, he did recognise her, because he was searching for the maiden in his vision(aka Princess Lady Serenity, a Chibiusa at the same apparent age the inner senshi are throughout the series), but for unsealing the Golden Crystal Sailor Moon/Serenity and her Silver Crystal were needed. Technically, both were needed, and if you remember, Chibiusa brought him back to life when she awakened her own Pink Moon Crystal. And the first person who encouraged her when she got depressed was Helios himself, during the scene where he showed her his true form for the first time and kissed her...which got her in that daze that was scaring even Usagi XD But in all it was pretty dark, cause we even had Nehelennia who was basically trying to corrupt a teenage boy.
