To be honest, I find the OG far more awkward as Chibi-Usa was trying to kiss Pegasus where as Pegasus kissed Chibi-Usa in the movie (and it wasn't on the lips until he turned into a human form).
The 90s SuperS drawings are so much more beautiful and organic. The new one is nice but it lacks a lot of soul that we used to have in the old version.

The manga, Crystal, Eternal and Cosmos has an important meaning quote and that is Accept the things you cannot change, have the courage to change the thing you can and have the wisdom to know the difference.

Trying to apply an "adult" lens to everything from your childhood just sounds exhausting. I watched this as a kid and am still unfazed by it as an adult. I get _why_ folks may be uncomfortable, but this growing need to try and moralize things that aren't real is weird. We're talking about a show with teenage crime fighters from the frigging moon. It's ultimately a fantastical story based off myths and fairytales. Just let it exist as that and you won't get hung up so much on everything. 🤷♀

I never gave up believing in fairies and magic with all my heart because I still refuse to grow up and forget about all the precious things I knew, especially those from my childhood. I also wish to be a fairy to stay strong, childlike, young, and beautiful forever and ever like Tinker Bell (Peter Pan), and the blue fairy (Pinocchio).
