  • While Steve investigates a roof-smashing new meteorite fall in Virginia, Geoff and his Aerolite Meteorites team track an elusive fireball in heat-ravaged Arizona. Later, the Meteorite Men rendezvous in central Texas at the fall site of the daytime Ash Creek fireball, with fellow hunter Ruben Garcia and Hopper the Meteorite Dog. This action-packed episode ends with a trip to the world-famous Tucson gem and mineral shows, where the guys offer up some of their finds to help fund future expeditions.
    TRIVIA
This was Steve and Geoff's second visit to the site of the Ash Creek meteorite fall, although the first was not filmed. They flew in immediately after the fall occurred in February of 2009 and returned some months later to make this episode. The Ash Creek meteorite was originally named "West," after the Texas town where it fell, and it was the first instance in history of Doppler radar being used to locate fallen meteorite fragments.

Great channel! White Sands Natl Monument never disappoints, especially after rains and/or wind events.

I still have one that I heard going through my trees in my backyard and hit my shed and bounced off it. About the size of a golf ball. Not weathered at all. Fusion crust is still black.

I certainly am! Expedtions to the Sahara, Australia, and American Southwest during the last couple of years. I'm also deeply involved with independent filmmaking, writing, producing and I am currently President of the National Space Society.

Who the heck buys them? Jeez I have a metal detector and a couple magnets...edit: I really have to get out of the habit of commenting while the video is still playing. So you have to bring them to conventions...any on the East Coast? I know nothing from nothing about the sale of Space Rocks...
