What do you think of Princess Charlene of Monaco?
Unlike many armchair psychologists, I don't pretend to know Charlene's problems other than what she has told us, illness etc. Maybe she has an anxiety disorder as well but I don't know this. I don't believe her husband is to blame though. Albert is well regarded in Monaco and has always seemed affectionate and supportive towards his wife.

I grew up in Namibia and also lived in South Africa for 29 years. I understand Charlene very well. One can't feel happy in Europe. I am living in Germany for 42 years now and I have not one single friend here. After all what I have experienced here I am not interested to have friends here. They are cold-haerted, one can't discuss anything descentwith them , except about eating, drinking and money, and most of all gossipping! I feel sorry for Charlene!

I seem to remember that there was a lot of tension and emotional turmoil just weeks, days, and hours, before their wedding ceremonies. Princess Charlene had reached the point of considering backing out of the Royal wedding, literally hours before the Royal event.
Prince Albert and Princess Charlene have gone through a lot before, during, and since their engagement and wedding day. However, I believe that Prince Albert has stepped up and supported his wife, especially during her physical/medical and emotional health difficulties. I believe that Princess Charlene is finding her own comfortable place in her position and that she is there for the duration.
She was such an obviously unhappy bride....
She is gorgeous and very sensitive and I think media add to her stress with nonsense of what her body language is or isn't or should be was..whatever...stop picking her to pieces...

For me she looks miserable next to him .money can’t buy happiness ! He looks controlling person! Feel sorry for her!! Some women think how great to marry rich when they have all than they understand that soulmate and strong love and respect support attraction is more important than anything else!!
She went through tremendous physical suffering all alone. Don't think her husband offers the greatest support, plus many in Monaco who want her out (so much preasure and little support) It's a surprise she can manage a smile at all. Think she's doing the best she can.
And her sisters-in-law give her a hard time by all accounts.

Yeah I also wouldn’t she didn’t marry her equal I mean we women can usually look past the surface but at the least he’s gotta have charisma and you gotta be attracted to each other physically but I see none in him but nobody forced her to marry him at the end of the day she’s an adult and shes made that decision herself so maybe time to suck it up ? Why she married if she’s miserable
People forget that without a legitimate male heir to Monaco, Monaco would have reverted to France rule.
My unsolicited advice: she should come to South Africa more often/ at events, her kids should be more involved, she lights up around them/He looks unfit and should put more effort into his health etc & when he has his side chicks, he should keep it private & stop having kids outside of this marriage. A happy wife = a happy life.

This poor woman. She is ill but will regain her health and vitality when she no longer has to pretend to love him or love being a princess. True, but Sissi lived in the nineteenth century. Nowadays things are different. Prince William married a commoner, King Philip of Spain, the heir princess in Sweeden, etc.... Sissi was chosen by her husband,he should have married Helen Sissi ' s sister. There was love somewhere. He wrote loving letters.

She could be suffering from serious depression hence her flat reactions especially if she's on medication. Anxiety and depression often go together. Albert seems to care for her but mental health issues can put a strain on any marriage. There is no comparison to Diana who is believed to have had BPD. It's a nightmare dealing with someone like that.
Princess Diana did not have BPD. Her wayward, older and rather plain looking husband, Charles was the problem in that marriage. Charles and his equally older, plain looking mistress Camilla to be precise, they were the problems Diana had to look at every day of her marriage. Diana had an eating disorder, that was due to her childhood trauma but her eating disorder was clearly exacerbated by the ongoing affair of Charles and Camilla. Do your research.
Since Diana Princess of Wales’ first affair was conducted between the birth of her two sons, there were many more than three in that marriage.
I always felt she was sorry she married Prince Albert and had mounts of depression I feel she was always judged by the people of Monaco and I felt Albert cheating did not help her she loves her children but they are apart of Monaco royality I feel deep inside she regrets being married maybe she loves him but does not like being a princess
Albert cares only for himself and his own interests. His beautiful wife and children are like commodities to him IMO. Entitled to the nth degree.
If she suffers from depression/ anxiety, he probably drove her to it & likely is not an innocent bystander. It’s pretty well known she tried to flee the country right before the wedding. I think in Monaco, those who rock the boat of the wealthy elite are not well regarded.. everyone also knows of his flandering and multiple children outside marriage.

I can understand how Meagan merkle feels…….nobody really knows what she, princess Diana and this young woman really experience behind closed door’s. We’re on the outside looking in, we do not have a front row view off there daily life. When they’re seen it’s just in front off a camera, I think these people are in so much pain, that this is there way off crying out for help……letting us know that they might be in trouble. She needs to get the hell out off there…….she looks trapped like a wolf caught in a trap. Sad……!🙏🏾❤️
