It’s easier when you know someone but it’s doable even if you don’t
Hey, man, can you answer my a question can someone access the Marcy lab from remotely?
Unfortunately you have to actually live in NYC to be a student at the Marcy Lab School
@@doseofdevy ok man I have understood 👍
i live in nyc, whats the catch? do i got to pay share of my income after i land a job? also can i work 30hrs a week while going to this school?
There's isn't an income share agreement, so it's 100% free. But it does require a full time commitment so you can't work during the program
@@doseofdevy what if i know basics of html, css and javascript and c++, im really stuck, my jobb is not getting me nowhere but just paying my rent and bringing breads
why am I hearing from left ear in most parts of the video; I'm sorry but that is discomforting.
This video was from I first got my microphone, I didn’t know how to use em yet lol
don't fret bro, you are going well. Keep growing!! @@doseofdevy
Are there any programs like this in texas
So basically a long, drawn out advertisement to a school nobody has ever heard of 🙄
It wasn't supposed to be an advertisement, but if it is, it is 🤷🏾♂️😂
Anything for clicks from the desperate idiot masses
Can someone from nigeria join mercyland cohort
Unfortunately it's only available to NYC residents
How I am start it without degree can it possible please suggest me
I'd suggest looking into a bootcamp, but if not start by picking a programming language to learn on your own. (I recommend JavaScript) then once you learn the language, figure out how to build something with it. Good luck friend!
That looks like CCNY. Did you study CS at Grove?
Actually I studied physics in marshak 😂
@@doseofdevy Physics is tough 😢
@@samuelfils1021 oh definitely 😭
Love watching your videos as an electrical engineering major. What state or city are you in?
Thanks man! I'm in New York City!
Exposure is so important. I was introduced to coding in my sophomore year and that spark the fire to continue today. Now I'm a Senior Engineer at consulting firm. It's definitely been a journey and I would suggest to anyone pursuing this path...GIVE UP NOW, IT'S A TRAP!!
Just kidding 😊 Continue to persevere, the end result is worth it.
I definitely agree! 🙏🏾
lol what happened with the audio in this
Age: input(How old u is fam?)
print("my age is 24 as last month") lol so technically I became a software engineer at 21 👌🏾
Giving me hope my guy❤️ blessing to you my guy
Hi,is the Marcy Lab available for all ages?
The age cut off is 26 I believe
Ok thanks
@@doseofdevywhere can I reach you directly for details?
6:03 is literally me right now. Im a junior/senior doing software engineering and ive done nothing but struggle in classes that wont even help me with what i want out of my degree. At this point school has stepped all over my love and passion for coding and I wish college was more straightforward than what it is. This program sounds so awesome, I wonder if i can find something similar where I live.
Hey man, I definitely understand where you're coming from. College isn't for everyone. But where do you live? Maybe I know of a program in your area!
@@doseofdevy Hey man thanks! I live in Atlanta.
Everyone here remember.... if it seems too good to be true.... it is. Don't let this guy bamboozle you.
This is a really good rule of thumb. Always do your research first!
PS: I respect that you're skeptical. But look into it some more before you write it off
Age limit 24…
So sad :(
Damnnn
Try www.pursuit.org/
@@doseofdevy Do you know people from there? I did research on them a few weeks ago and there was a lot of negative posts on reddit about them..I only found like 1 okayish comment about pursuit... Trying to help my family here man.. is hard... but being low-income in ny is hell specially because these bootcamps are so expensive and college is even more expensive.
Yeah I definitely feel you! My girlfriend is doing pursuit and so far it's been a pretty decent experience. Definitely rigorous though! But I still don't know a whole lot about it
@@doseofdevy thanks for the replies sir!. I decided to just go with it and applied to pursuit like your recommended. Hope I get accepted
Oh I also just found out about this one the other day. Try looking into this

Is there a school for graphic design similar to Marcy?
There definitely might be, I haven't heard of any but I doubt you'd find a free one. Those are pretty rare to find
