@@MastakAK yep, i know that. But actually, I can't see any difference in lq compared to before at my casual freestyle flying. My focus was to get the radio as compact as possible. Btw, the radio has 1w output power, I could compensate potential singnal weaknesses by cramping the power up.
@szaszbulcsu would have been an Option too. But there were holes in the case, i would would have needed cover for them. It looks a bit cleaner as it is now. Antenna inside might also reduce the range again.
You do realise that it impacts the range (due to the way it radiates)? TX antenna shouldn't be horizontal (especially if also the RX antenna is horizontal). th-cam.com/video/kZgsB1iKEZ0/w-d-xo.html
@@MarekSzulen yep, i know that. I only fly close/ mid range, so i dont need the maximum range. For this near by flying i dont see any difference in rssi or lq
@@joshfpvv That's indeed, nothing to worry about then :) How do you like the radio? I'm looking for a secont TX to be my travel/ELRS TX for quads and fpv wings. For bigger models I use Frsky X20S.
@@MarekSzulen :). I really like it tbh. The gimbals look cheap but feel pretty good, even for me (im pretty picky about gimbals...). The control panel on the bottom is a bit overkill but yeah. Overall its pretty nice and compact
@@joshfpvv Great! I especially like "compact". That's the main factor for me. About gimbals - yes, I'm also picky (my X20S has metal, CNC hall gimbals that are very smooth and precise). Previously, I've used old Graupner MC-19 that also had great (but plastic) gimbals. No issue here. If they work - it's ok. I only hope those gimbals are somewhat better than those I've had in Jumper T18. It will be my secondary radio. Something I can put in the backpack together with the quad or wing and hop on a bike to go somewhere else than our club field :) The control panel might be useful for iNav with the fixed wing to select the flight modes. I'll see.
Извращенец! :-)
Антенна должна быть как можно дальше от плат и радиоэлементов.
@@MastakAK i dont need maximum range, i only fly close/ midrange. Works absolutely fine for that

Gute Idee ! So hat man ne kompakte Funke, und trotzdem in der Hand wie eine Boxer bzw T14...
@@Sugalime3D_FPV jap, war die Idee. Vorallem auch einfacher zu transportieren
You can take that front plate off with all the switches. Either replace it with a 3dp or carbon replica.

nice job! 😃

@ what kind of gimbal hall or rdc.
@@nighthd8852 i have the hall version. They feel good but look kinda cheap. I would go for the other version next time.
next time u have white residue from super glue just spray some WD40 on a rag and wipe the residue off. it comes off instantly :)
