Mine has been dead for a year now and saw this video and said freak it haha stretched the spring and nothing but… I put a foil paper between the spring and the battery and it fixed it! Even after I took off the foil. I have no idea what I did but it work 😂
Thumbs up for the win I couldn’t find or was going to look that hard for a stupid little spring. Jammed some foil in that baby and away I went. Bty I think that thing that everyone thinks is a spring is a fuse.
I couldnt get the piece to spin out. I then used the foil off a bouillon cube and stuck it in the chage cap and works like a champ! So much easier also.
Where in the world would you get such a spring? I know Nebo doesn't sell them. How did you break that spring? did you overtighten the base cap? I doubt using the light while charging would have put any stress on that spring. I have a Torchy myself, and the bottom doesn't move if I move the light around while being charged. I will say this though, I really like this light, it's very small but very bright, and the battery can be replaced instead of having to replace the light should the battery fail.
Mine bran new wasn't turning red charging just stayed blue. Didn't have foil because I'm traveling so I used a thin piece of foil off a Wendy's burger wrap and it worked. Don't have to open it just place foil between charger and the flashlight hole and it'll turn red.
I have this issue with the new one it won’t charge when putting it on the magnetic charger hasn’t been dropped or In contact with water only had it a month…

Could you describe how you did it please ?
Stretched the spring back out worked!
I just put some foil inside like the comments said. The charging light went from blue to red so that’s good. I’ll update on if it charges or not.
The foil trick worked for me too!
Worked like a charm
Thanks a billion. I streched my spring back out that solved it for now.. i will source a replacement.
Mine will charge but i have to unscrew the cap the make the darn thing work! If the cap is screwed on tight then the torch will not work🤷♂️

Muchas gracias, realmente útil tu explicación.
If I dont have laptop available for usb charging, then which type of adapter should use for charging the usb?

Do you know the battery type?

How about showing how you got the parts hiding the spring off?
The video is about fixing the charging system. He shows the flashlight working. But doesn't show the light charging.
Informative. Should have been a 20 second video
Maybe just stick to one word answers🤷♂️
Hey man thanks for your tip. Same thing here so I tried to stretch out the spring and it worked. 👍🏻
My Meebo isn’t charging as well can’t you just send it to the company?
The magnetic charge point does get corroded and needs to be cleaned to charge. It may not be the spring at all.
Anyone have any sources to get a small coil spring other than “an old extra flashlight”?
ballpoint pen. electric stores, just ask the vendor for a cheap product with a spring in it.
I have this issue with the new one it won’t charge when putting it on the magnetic charger hasn’t been dropped or In contact with water only had it a month…
I’m on my second one of the new one torchy 2k Nebo replaced for free but this one is doing the same…. Horrible design
@@csarandos94 try the foil trick
Where can I get a replacement charger ? Or how can I charge it?
I contacted them via email and they sent me a new one
I put foil in it like the other guy. I think that thing you are calling a spring is a fuse.
My charger bevo is not working
F##k it. I Went and bought another Torchy.
😂 🤣
